Shiina cried at her first akasupa and she's now getting bullied with money. One less sad girl :(
She overcomed her coomer model nerf with good content she deserve it
Yea, her stuff's been really good so far. She had a really bad bout of imposter syndrome after a couple of mistakes in her last incarnation as Shirara. I'm glad to see she's flourishing so well. And she's starting to loosen up a bit. Her last Witcher stream was an absolute riot.
Her first stream with Super chats and she's raking it in! I guess people couldn't find the streamelements donation link? Fishman treat her well! I think all of Gen 2 is good, but Shiina is something special.
StreamElements is great, but Susan loves the Superchats, and it helps her metrics much more. Even though they get a bigger cut from Stream Elements.
A sign of things to come for Airi I can't wait to hear her brain break when the floodgates open
I have a big feeling Airi is going to get bullied to hell and back once she gets SuperChats. Wolf.exe will crash.

Speaking of Airi, she's up next with Dark Souls. She's up to the Gargoyles now.

I think Knox Hill is overly positive sometimes (I have never seen a reaction to something that is not ‘Knox Hill Certified’). But I think that’s because he does know his stuff and he has enough knowledge that, even if he might not actually love something as much as he says, he is able to identify and focus on the positives.

That said, Wanting Getting Wanting is actually a good song too.

Aia is doing an F2P account from the beginning turned off voices and has been voicing everything herself
Gave Paimon a country accent
Venti a gruff voice
Amber Valley girl
She turned Lisa into what can only be described as an Angry Cockney almost Billy Butcher impression but she's terrible at it
"I have no idea where lisa is from this accent does not exist anywhere in the world"
She and Ren plan to coop

True he does focus on the positives but he does also criticize even if he overall likes the song
For example he criticized the mixing in Unalive a fair bit and callis diction in others actually praising her diction in Wanting Getting Wanting in contrast

Isn't that pretty much because JP music copyright is generally handled by two companies, meaning that once you can figure shit out with one you've probably got a lot of options, or am I remembering shit wrong?

In case you wondered what the office blowjob boy's favorite movies are (and I'm sure it's a question so important to the thread that it doesn't let anyone here sleep at night):
Some of these are pretty neat, others not that surprising. Isn't Mother some ridiculously pretentious and confusing shitshow with a script shat out in five days?
2001 is also pretentious trash, but even if Vox is pretentious I would like to see this as a trend since you usually only hear about a vtubers taste in anime/manga and if they have similar tastes to me I may find some new movies to enjoy.

So I just had an uncomfortable thought.

With much of the developed world seemingly heading into some tight economic times, some even a recession, what are the odds were going to start seeing more "graduations" or even outright collapses of smaller corps?

We've never had a full blown global recession at the same time that tips and donos based video streamers were even a thing, but historically, fringe entertainment venues don't fair well during economic downturns.

Sorry for the uncomfortable thoughts I'm just doomin
I've been expecting it for a while, I'm surprised I'm only seeing it posted about now. Petrol has been up for months, energy prices are up, there are food issues with Ukraine/Russia and now parts of Europe are on fire or undergoing a drought (China is too, while also being flooded) so food will get more expensive, inflation keeps going up and the energy shit is going to fuck us in the ass raw when winter hits. Pretty fucking high imo, even big corporations may need to cut costs. Mori and Hachama will do well with the sponsorships, bug protein will be the cheap alternative to meat and I'm sure some people will reach for the box wine more often to cope.
I'm not saying they're contractually banned from it or anything, but with how much backlash they can get from audience if there's a suspected male presence it's definitely something they'd want to try to actively avoid dealing with. We lost Rushia because she dared interact with a man, as dumb as the avenues she took, and fumbled the recovery which exposed a number of indiscretions she made against Cover either prior or in the aftermath. I doubt anyone else would go as full retard, but that entire episode would probably be a good reminder of the worst that could happen if they're "caught".

I'm just hoping nothing goes too bad for Noel/Canan overall. Whether it's all an act or she's genuinely having a rough time shouldn't preclude her from being happy, and having emotional problems while being a sex workers is an easy entrance to a slippery slide.
But Cover actually came out to defend Rushia saying it was none of her business, it was only the later stuff that got her fired. Didn't the Japanese doxx say Korone was a mother? That can only mean that not only has she had a penis inside her that wasn't a viewer, but the penis-haver even came inside her! She still has a job and a lot of fans. Fauna is still dating Eddie, etc. People know these people have partners, it's really not that big of a deal. They just don't want stream after stream of girls talking about how much sex they had or how great their BF is.

Maybe I'm an outlier and maybe I'm biased as I don't really watch Fauna, but since I heard people say the relationship with Eddie was a long term one, I honestly hope it's a long and happy one and if they got married I would be happy for them. It's actually nice to have some wholesome stories when everything is miserable as fuck. Meanwhile we get stories about how Marine is nearly 30 and depressed that she isn't married or in a relationship. Even if you're a batshit insane fan, which of these scenarios would have them making better content, the happy talent or the depressed one? Which one is more likely to keep streaming? Which is more likely to blow their brains out?

Brad on fucking suicide watch.
Definitely. Not only does he not know what he's talking about 90% of the time, but you actually see in his body language that he was forcing himself to hate her music. Didn't want to lose his Anti-Karen audience I suppose.
Brad's entire schtick is to be a combination of Anthony Fantano and Zero Punctuation. Main problem however is that he leans more towards Nostalgia Critic more than anything where his critique is just a fake bit for entertainment but like Doug he doesn't really have the credentials or expertise to actually back up/explain what he says. His Mori critique stream is the prime example of this where his main complaint was just "Mori/Karen keeps sounding like she's trying to prove something" and that's about it for actual criticism.

Scrufacejean, and Ravenclawreacts are better for actual input on Mori's music. Scru from a rapping standpoint and Ravenclaw from a classically trained music standpoint.

Yeah, I've been wondering about that for a while. It doesn't take an econ major like myself to tell u the obvious that there will be a decline in the revenues of those who work in the entertainment industry. Thought streamers are in an interesting position as they are a cheap source of entertainment. While there will be shutdowns, graduations, and a reduction in revenue those who remain will likely have a higher viewership due to the transition to cheaper entertainment.

Yeah, Ravenclawreacts went pretty in depth on why she didn't like Calli's rap style. At the end of the day its still subjective, but if your criticism is just buzzwords then you are just wasting everyone's time as a "critic" and clearly don't have the credentials.

Guy reminds me of that one person who contracted necrosis on his penis because he couldn't stop masturbating to Twitch streamers.
Unfortunately that was fake. It's not quite the same but if it's any consolation there are cases of men developing necrosis after injecting cocaine into their dick.
Long term relationships are hard to come by nowadays unfortunately.
But that just makes them more special/wholesome and we should wish the best for those in them.

I'm glad to be wrong from what I posted earlier, it looks like the twins from V&U are actually still around, they weren't just axed indefinitely:

Reading between the lines it seems like either death of a parent or their house being destroyed or kicked out of in some housing scam (which I've heard is common in korea). I think it's the former because of how quiet V&U were about the whole thing, to the point where it felt like the company and the other two were being cold, but that could just be koreans being more autistic than japanese with feelings. It also makes the company feel much more legitimate than some black company and seeing how they've already given new outfits two months into their company debut they seem to be serious. In all it's just good news and with Monaca getting her spirits lifted this week, some good feels.
I literally forgot who they even were until i saw the picture with the red hair girl and remember her due to her awful rigging on debut, there are too many fucking forgettable vtubers.

I'm going to be out of town for the next two to three weeks for a family reunion.
I'm going to remote access my computer to record Pippa/Yuni streams.
I'm going to be on the road for four or five days of trip so don't expect miracles.

The only thing I wish I could change about my oshi, is the fact she can't into niponese. I'd love to have Ame actually interact with Nabi and the JPs in a more understandable way. It's very cute watching her and the JPs speak with passion language, but seeing Kiara and Nabi-mama collab like this while actually understanding each other is great. Also, I've missed Nabi's extremely sweet voice.
