This is off topic a bit, but I'm curious what people currently think of Coco/Kson.
I could be wrong, but it seems she's largely drifted out of most conversations a month or two after she left hololive. Are people here still watching her as frequently as before? Has her content changed too much for some fans?
She doesn't have a presence in this thread aside from the occasional celebration post because nothing particularly dramatic is happening to her. Kson's numbers stabilized around the 3000-5000 mark for her Japanese streams which is about the same as what her 'core' Japanese audience was when she was in Hololive. Many of her hardcore fans from Hololive and even before are still around and some holdouts have reemerged since the 2d debut.
In her magazine interview, she stated that her income split is 25% Membership fee and 75% superchat. She said she made roughly $150,000 the month she had Ryugon on GMMF so that would mean $37,500 a month from membership which would mean she would have had at most 7500 members in october, which is less than her peak of 10,000+ as Coco.
As for clippers, Felix172, Crippling Depression, Dran Ch. ETC and ShabbySubs are still producing clips. They don't get the views that holo clips do but Hololive in the algorithm is just way too powerful.
Lately Kson has been collabing with some of her Hololive friends under roommate accounts. She played Apex twice with Choco and Mel on stream but kept it on mildom, probably to avoid drawing any unwanted attention to it. From what she says in her zatsudans, she is still in close contact with everyone off-stream.
She is also networking aggressively and forming a new friend group of indies and smaller companies to collab with. Ryugon and Pikamee from VOMS, Melody from VShojo, Her rigger mama Himono and Artist Yaman**, WoWS Professional Chiho, Kourin from the JP branch of MAHA5 (Malaysian vtuber group) and some more I can't remember off the top of my head.
