She's trying to gather her new family ever since she debut her new body, so give it sometime I'm sure the ball will get rolling again. Hell, the collabs with Pikamee have been a blast. And the one with Guutara/Rika was very comfy and cute as well.

About she doesn't appeal to EoP fans anymore, wdym? She has always been like this. Actually, she have more English only stream than before since she collab with EN vtubers like Pikamee and Vshojo. Not sure what make you come to that conclusion. Which remind me of a clip made by a long time fan about this exact topic.

I've had the (mis)fortune to read through all of those tweets and personally, it comes off as VShojo trying not to look bad for the fact that they knew this phishing campaign was happening, regardless if it ended quickly or not, and didn't bother to even do a simple, "Hey guys, we've gotten complaints of possible phishing emails from people pretending to be us. Just to be safe, here's what to look out for."

Rather than admit they screwed up and tried to bury what was going on, they decided to try and bury Nux. Not really a fan of Nux just because of the cringe alone, but Nux isn't someone you want to go after, and VShojo, at the very least, will regret going after him. Nevermind the girls turning on him, at this point, Nux only has one option; retaliation. May not be immediate, but it will be soon, he isn't an idiot, all things considered.

Honestly though, the one that's going to regret it the most is Mel, especially since he stood by her and defended her after what that Digit idiot did.

I have to wonder, if Hololive announced HoloEN gen 3 auditions and someone was impersonating HololiveEN management to phish indies, do you think they'd stay silent or make a public warning? Same for Nijisanji and Phase Connect.

For Holo, I think they actually put their contact email on the audition form as well as hyperlink to submit introductory videos etc., so there’s no way someone even with half a brain cell can miss it.

If you pay attention, most HoloEN and NijiEN had a solid internet present and good internet literacy so they don’t just click any links and probably prefer dm via official sources etc. Vshojo is a group first not a company so they don’t have enough personnel to take care all aspect especially the recruiting department.

From personal experiences of mine it is honestly impossible to definitively tell someone's gender through text. Especially if you're in nerdy circles as the girls will talk verbatim just like the dudes. It doesn't even matter if its a generally more masculine or more feminine tone, its a 50/50 shot the person talking is either or.

Your perception of their gender is often determined by your assumptions of how they speak. If you think thats how a guy talks, you'll read it with a male voice. If you think thats how a girl talks, you'll read it with a female voice.

I feel like a lot of people’s opinion on the whole mess lies more with how they feel about Vshojo in general rather than what’s actually going on.

Yeah, while there are certainly some good takes here, I'm seeing far too much of:

"Vshojo bad because X", where X is based on a claim made in the Nux video.
"Nux bad because Y", where Y is something claimed in Vshojo's statement.

If you fully believe anything either group has said, enough to use it as an argument, then you've already chosen a side, haven't you?
I'm guessing that Nux is telling the truth, because it would be self-sabotage to claim he has receipts if he has nothing -- but I don't know him well enough to know if he's that stupid or not.

This is off topic a bit, but I'm curious what people currently think of Coco/Kson.

I could be wrong, but it seems she's largely drifted out of most conversations a month or two after she left hololive. Are people here still watching her as frequently as before? Has her content changed too much for some fans?

Tbh I always found Coco hard to watch and kinda unfunny.

Never got into her. For a while she had a unique brand of shitposting and memery in Hololive, but once Gura joined she was honestly upstaged in every regard. Gura can casually meme and gremlin in a way Coco could only dream of, and her only real advantage was in being more "shocking". Not to mention how insufferable her voice is.

Oh here we go something different than vshojo/nux drama!

I never really was a fan of Coco's schtick - being edgy because she *gasp* swears and talks about lewd stuff! Maybe I'm too much of a boomer, but that does nothing for me and in fact just gets grating after a while when that's all you bring to the table. So innovative! As I said before, pretty much the same reason I don't really watch or like Kiara or Calli, because it seems like they slip into that category a lot of the time too (ok maybe not the lewd stuff with Calli, at least she stays away from that trap and has been improving in general the past few months). So the pedestal Coco gets put on as being this huge progenitor of EN vtubing where everyone circlejerks about her also gets annoying. I think she was just at the right place and the right time to be at the beginning of the EN vtubing boom and it would have kicked off and grown huge with or without her, and she gets way too much credit for it.

Anyways, it's nice to see I'm not in some dream world where I'm the only one who thinks she isn't that good, because it feels that way if you read anything on reddit or twitter. Feels like if you said anything but the highest praise for her there and didn't idolize her (ironically), you'd get downvoted to oblivion or canceled.

And speaking of Gura in that regard, I almost think Senzawa could have been classified in a similar way. So it makes me like her more that she "grew up" and out of that phase. Reflect of course makes it seems like she realizes that and has moved on, so I hope she doesn't slip back into it again. I was a bit worried during her anniversary stream when she said she was going to stop giving an F and just do stuff that she might, but in the end she just turned more into the meme-y/bratty shark we already liked.
