I still can't believe Fauna's leaving. Given how laidback she is and how much she seems to enjoy streaming, I always figured she'd be one of the last ones to leave.

I'm dying to know what management did that pissed her off so much she decided to leave, but I doubt we'll ever know.

I kinda figured why Ame and Fauna left. I think it's a combo of travel and freedom. Ame wanted to be her own boss and do her own thing; Fauna didn't want to travel and was having disputes with mgmt. I doubt we'll ever know. But, if Shiori hasn't left and isn't upset thats a good sign. The moment Shiori leaves is the moment I think EN is done. Shiori gets away with saying the most unhinged shit and doing whatever she wants. If mgmt was that bad they'd be putting a muzzle on her.

It's by far the most abrupt, out of nowhere, and angry announcement I've seen. Especially for someone as 'soft' as fauna.
I'd hedge my bets in investors' demands. A pay cut for talents? Change in direction (Making EN demands miror JP demands?), something along those lines.
She stated she doesn't want to stop performing, doesn't hate idol stuff and doesn't hate streaming. So it leaves nothing else, imo.

Other talent have said that there havent been any overt or fundamental changes of how Holo does things so its either something that has been brewing for some time behind the scenes or fauna herself changed, the Investor thing is just conjecture but yagoo has had some translated Q&As where he rejects some of the more fuckier bean counter type questions in the open. But who knows what happens behind closed doors

Yagoo and other Cover executives own most of Cover's stock. The worst any outside investor can do is be politely ignored when they try to suggest something Cover doesn't want to do. Even assuming the rrat that there's been a detrimental change in direction is true, that would be Cover's own decision, and not one forced by investors.
