nah its just alot of women once married, would end up quitting their jobs and be fulltime stay at home wives
because the men tends to view if their wife is still finding a job/working for someone else its an insult to them as if they're not good enough to provide for their family.

This happened alot with former employees at a company im working at.

There are some work arounds to this though, if both husband and wife worked at the same place, they more or less do it.

All in all, living in Indonesia for quite a while, after living in Australia for a while. there is a huge contrast in culture and in people's attitudes.
I often see quite % of men are more deeply insecure in Indonesia, hence why the power balance in dating/relationships/marriage is different than in western countries.

It truly is astounding how the fishman just keeps winning by doing the most absolutely basic shit that you would expect any decent company to do with their talent. I mean how fucking hard is it to just not treat your employees like shit, actually pay them and add value, not be insanely corrupt, and not try to overextend yourself for no reason? One would think that none of this is difficult, but it seems like the ability to pull it off is extremely uncommon.

I mean I don't even really like the idea of large management corporations behind entertainers, but holy fucking shit if you're going to do it at least do it well. How you can fuck up managing a money printer like the average large corpo roster is just beyond me.

i don't get the dudes who treat phase like some dumping ground for vtuber refugees, it was back in the day but now that they've gotten reasonably big I'm p sure fishman is running a tight ship without much room for error (which is how it has to be to keep afloat in the industry i guess)

Yeah I mean it's not just vshojo though, it seems like almost every corpo but phase is fucking awful on the backend for no other reason than total incompetence. It's like they think that the second someone signs with them that they're property and have no free will or right to complain or whatever. Only fishman appears to understand that what the role of a management company actually is is to take care of all the details and grunt work and promote the talent to audiences and sponsors with a side of making sure that they don't die or go (more) insane, so that the talent can do what makes money which is streaming. Effectively the management company is being employed by the streamer as a service, not the other way around. If you look at what Sakana does, it's basically just those 3 things.
