The entire concept of the story was the gayest shit I have ever listened to (the only exposure I have had to it was a from a weird Podcast/Audiobook hybrid in which Chris Chan pronoun policer and Karl Associate Robert Evans and that Killjoy troon did a reading of it). The protagonist is some leftoid militia member (might have been a troon cannot remember, probably was) fighting against da nazis in CW2, then some spirits from Valhalla show up and fight with the heroic antifas before fucking off but not before going on a fart huffing tangent about how notsees bad. The story is told in the format of the militia member reiterating the events that occurred several years after to a Journalist. The leftoids also defeat the American Government, somehow.

Not sure, all I know about Victoria is from the /k/ read-along thread and the main character is a former USMC captain. But they do weird shit like using 1950s radar and T-34 tanks because modern equipment is supposedly full of fail and AIDS. A F-35 gets shot down by MANPADS because they can't fly low and slow properly. Praise Lt. Col. Burton and Pierre Sprey.

Just checked, it is! As a filthy Britisher I find these sorts of power fantasy wank books coming out of the US right fascinating (and hilarious). Victoria, Turner Diaries, Unintended Consequences are all so obviously written one handed but take themselves so seriously.

The Goddamned self-proclaimed """Reformers""" are living proof that just because you are former military or defense engineering, doesn't mean you aren't a retarded wackjob hack, with no useful military knowledge.

The worst part is, for the longest time these guys had a huge media presence. As a defense industry guy. It was like hearing moon landing denialists being used as definitive source on TV when you are a guy who worked on the Saturn 5. I can't remember which one of these lunatics said it, but it was on primetime news: "There is no case in which we should be using jet-powered aircraft over the much superior piston-driven aircraft." That was said in the late 80s.

As of late their media presence has all but gone extinct. Don't get me wrong, there are still a bunch of people out there claiming the same things the """Reformers""" did, but they seem to universally be considered as fringe.

Does military procurement need reform? Yes, I am as tired of 12,000 dollar toilet seats as anybody else. I think the f-35 and Gerald R. Ford class have had many self-inflicted engineering and development issues. But what we don't need is the "Reformers".

Has anyone else listened to Fudd Busters? Ian suggested it a while ago. It's run by some lawyer who gives legal analysis of gun law in different states and follows the ATF's shenanigans.
He has a podcast on the same channel with someone else. The host seems like some sort of "libertarian" that lets his politics seep into this podcasts. It's pretty cringe inducing or boring and different from the scripted content. Based on the comments, he attracts the standard balless conservative/libertarian types who talk a big game but then just watch their rights get taken away. I can't tell if he is naive or playing it safe for youtube based on some of the things he says because he seems very sympathetic to leftist movements. Here he is reading a SRA powerpoint and mentioning he is apparently the preferred guntuber of the SRA according to reddit.
