https://youtube.com/watch?v=2LFgak7aspcIt might be lack of sleep, but the I couldn't stop laughing at this segment with the cigarettes in Paul's latest video.
It wouldn't be a Paul Harrell video if he didn't spend 20 minutes explaining his thought process, only for the conclusion to be 10 seconds long.

The fact that "Gun Jesus" is never solicited for a consolation by a serious manufacturer like FN or H&K speaks for itself. He's just a gun collector that's well read and traveled.
Out of curiosity, why do you think a manufacturer would consult with him on anything production-related? The guy has no background in manufacture besides kit-building and he's quite clear about it. He's a historian, and as such they contact him when they want him to, surprise surprise... check out their historical guns.

Ian is just a great marketing tool for these companies, and they know it. H&K wouldn't have commissioned the image that later became the Gun Jesus poster if that wasn't the case. They don't need him to do any sort of consulting, they have engineers to do the production work, and blue-haired millennials media managers to do the marketing work.

I'll own the DEF CON - Desert Brutality mix up. I should of relooked it up before using it as an example. That was DeviantOllam's doing and we're not talking about him. 100% my bad, I fucked up.

Concerning the T36. There is a way to get through to people and make a point without antagonizing them. Karl chose not to do that because as a public figure, he gets annoyed very easily and goes off on a tangent to own people in an argument. This is why I think Karl is detrimental. Karl could spend an afternoon reading Dale Carnegie's How to Win Friends and Influence People, implement what he learned, and this thread would be inactive since we would have nothing to talk about since his sperging would come to a screeching halt.

I've seen videos in the past with Karl and he doesn't strike me as that knowledgeable, he is just an enthusiastic hobbyist. He just doesn't make a living in the firearms industry, he reads a lot and he just has a lot of confidence when presenting what he has read. I think his arguments fall flat with forward assist because simply put, he has never been in stressful situations with it whether it its combat or training. When I see someone like Vickers talk about the need for FA, I'm more likely to listen to a career soldier since he has a lot of experience with firearms that have it to understand why it is needed. Not someone sitting on his computer reading old paperwork and then saying "wow, we don't need that; the US military is stupid for having it".

I don't know his exact role with WWSD; I do know Karl isn't an engineer. He can't flip open a material science text book and explain the relevant theory on how it works. WWSD is succeeding because there are smart enough people doing the engineering to make it work.

Concerning his outreach, I'll let the stats speak:

View attachment 2771399

It is almost as if his online behavior has isolated him from the rest of the community and his channel is going stagnant in outreach.

Anyways, thanks for being a good sport and engaging me. I can tell we not going to agree but it is ok.

I'll end this with a compliment, that was pretty cool that you stood up for yourself and reached out to SA concerning your ban. I think a lot of people wouldn't of bothered but you stuck to what you believed was right..
I don't know if those stats reflect anything so much as InRange being kinda niche to begin with. The mud tests and optic reviews are as close as the channel gets to "normie" guntuber content.

I brought up the chart because it showed a notable decrease in Karl’s viewership and a decrease in monthly subscribers. His outreach tapered off while he got in internet slap fights in comment sections.

I don't know if podcasts count as guntubers but I highly recommend the clone incorrect podcast.

I bring this up because one of the two guys behind it is literally the guest in the linked posdcast episode but the Art and War podcast is really good, They recently interviewed Garand Thumb.
I actually found Cl through Art and War. They cam up in my recommendations after watching AaW.

He's never once followed up on his threats to kill anyone and he can't drive stick. Pretty cringe desu famalam.

In a scale of 0-100 how based was TRT Yeager?

What is the story behind that guy? All I've seen of him is shilling for tranny kids
He used to be a PMC and he was involved in a rather infamous incident in which the column of vehicles he was in got ambushed. I can't remember the full details but from what I can recall off of the top of my head he stalled out the vehicle he was driving and then abandoned it to go take cover in a ditch which caused the entire convoy to need to stop for a protracted period, all said and done him stopping the convoy for as long as he did caused two or three casualties.

Before this came to light (and before the video of the incident got leaked) he would walk around talking big and kicking up shit with his Billy Badass wannabe mannerisms and his overly aggressive rhetoric. He would use his experience as a "merc" to give credence to his retardation and talked about how much of a badass he is. He became violently angry whenever someone would question his credentials and went way out of his way to lie about the aforementioned incident. He would routinely fly off the chain during the Obama era repeatedly making videos where he called for armed insurrection and made numerous threats and promises of retributive violence against people who pissed him off and then never follow through with any of it and release another video talking about how his lawyers told him to shut he fuck up and apologize. Basically the guy was the absolute worst representation of the first generation of the "Get really angry and scream about snow flake millenials from the front seat of my pickup truck" demographic.

EDIT: He's also a Fox News brand Republican and a civnat.

Further edit: I did a quick search and found out some more details about the convoy incident, a US Army checkpoint which was setup to clear the road of a bomb damaged vehicle had traffic in a gridlock and so the leader of the convoy that Yeager was in got out of his vehicle and fired warning shots into the air to tell civilian vehicles to keep clear of the convoy, this marked them as contractors despite them driving unmarked local vehicles and wearing local clothing. There were about 300m between their vehicles and the vehicles behind them and about 1km between them and the US checkpoint when they were attacked, a white SUV slips by them on a slip road, whips a u turn, stops next to the convoy, and opens up out the window with a belt fed MG. Yeager's leg had gotten tired from holding down the brake pedal for so long and so he took the car out of gear and set the parking brake on, when Yeager punched the gas the vehicle revved but didn't move, obviously. Not one vehicle moved and the contractors got out of their car to fight back, now the controversy starts here, Yeager leaves the vehicle and jumps into the ditch, at first he claimed that never happened, that he stayed and fought, after the video was released showing him hit the ditch he amended his story to "I jumped into the ditch after emptying my magazine".

Yeager is driving the vehicle ahead and to the right of the camera vehicle, you can clearly see him leave the driver seat and jet across the road.

Unfortunately the channel had all the videos privated or deled but VuurwapenBlog (Andrew Tuohy/97SVTVERT) had a couple of parodies on Yeager where he wore the fake tattoo sleeves, and his best line was "I know all about threats, because I spend my life sending them online".

Yeager went low profile after two events : His concealed carry was yanked, and his shilling for the RAS 47 after it was clearly proven on video several times that it was a broken piece of shit. Including when one broke on him within I think it was 10 rounds.

I can't remember, was his CCL pulled before or after he made his statement about how he isn't in favor of federal CCL?

It happened a week or two after he posted his "pack your bags/start killing people" video.

Wasn't there a video where Yeager and someone else torture tested a RAS47 on camera with no cuts and after a couple thousand rounds it failed the gauge test? I can't find it anymore.
