It doesn't matter that he mentioned the Azov Battalion. It didn't help, but not mentioning it wouldn't make things any better either.

The moment he mentioned the author, all the people who live on twitter would take a look at the guy's feed and commence reeing. Half the people bitching in the comments to his videos didn't even know what Azov was, they were talking about how the guy who wrote the book was a big meanie on twitter.
 
What the fuck is wrong with westerners? I get that it's a nasty subject and might make people uncomfortable but it's also reality. You can't just divorce these things when it comes to war. And it begs the question, what can they learn about a conflict if they're just going ignore the parts they don't like?

This is why so many of us are completely ignorant about the world.
 
If Russ is correct when saying that us K*w* F*r*s chudbigots are very influential gun drama wise it will not be long before the gay faggot Ian McCuckem knows that we think he is a gay faggot.

I do not think that he will be at all passive aggressive like Karl the Cuck is.
 
Despite his deficits, Ian has far more talent and skill than Karl, whose only real superpowers are dressing like a wehraboo and telling hurried stories in the desert.

Oh but you can write all the books you want about Western leftists fighting in the international brigades of the YPG. We can clearly divorce those international brigades from the ones that during the Spanish Civil War mass murdered priests and nuns due to clergy not supporting commie ideals back in the day. Hell, we'll even overlook how the YPG was documented to have demolished homes and driven families out of their land without a military reason (a war crime) and employed child soldiers.
This doesn't even say much about Westerners, this is a purely political play. Almost every organization and ideology can be sanitized and rehabilitated for modern consumption, except for the Nazis, Confederates, etc.

Someone mentioned earlier in the thread that there's a good chance Azov itself might be sanitized if our government keeps pushing their insane idea of fighting against Russia in Ukraine. Suppress all insignia from current-day footage, depict them as heroic men who denounced their far-right origins and are now fighting for NATO and the EU against Russian aggression, hope to God it sticks. As I said, most people have no idea what the Azov Battalion is, and the administration is trying really hard to find a way to motivate people into accepting yet another foreign war.

How long until we find out that black rifle coffee is some kind of glow in the dark op to fuck up the community? Their entire thing seems to be to force people into bad decisions and spread discord by holding the purse strings.

I saw Ian's book announcement and the the announcement that it was getting pulled and that was all the info I had. From the way he was talking I almost had the impression that the author was a fake vet, not that people just didn't like who he fought with.

No, I think you missed the point - shooting, blood and guts, dead russians? That's okay. But the guy who wrote it is a Swede and a Nazi.
That means we should not be allowed to read what he experienced over there, because that would somehow enable him to be paid for being a Swedish Nazi.

Yes. That's a problem for Ian and the kind of audience he wants and the kind of content he wants. Darrin Weaver in his Volkssturmgewehr book had to defend the inclusion of Soviet brutalities in his introduction -he wanted to make clear what was the mindset of the people using the guns he wrote about. He still had to point out that he wasn't a Nazi and lacked any sympathy for them. It's what you do when you write on charged topics, they'll eat you alive otherwise. And we're talking about a book that had a far smaller audience than HS's offerings.

Ian until now was hyper-focused on avoiding politics, just see the spergout people had on South Africa for an example of desperately avoiding that. As other people said, it's a smart move to have access to archives, people and interviews. The memoirs of a Azov swede aren't worth the risk of being deplatformed, or losing access to material and means. Sad as it may be, winning the respect of another minority of terminally-ill online people wasn't worth the risk. Being branded as a right-wing publisher (rightfully or not) would have been a death knell in long term, that's how the world works nowadays.
 
It's important to understand that for an independent YouTuber Ian has unprecedented access to Museums and private collections around the World. If he has a bunch of Terminally online Antifa Tranny's determined to fuck with him, those doors could all be closed to him.

Even if those organizations would prefer the trannies just 41% themselves, their mere presense makes any person radioactive. The door would shut rapidly and without reprieve.
