On twitter in particular there are popular accounts, but it’s really funny. The fandom at large has a giant boner for cancelling anyone at the drop of a hat, for example someone named VentiPosting (20k followers) said something along the lines of questioning neopronouns and the fandom doxed her and she deactivated. Another user called yzhongli posted fake leaks and the tweet “mihoyo /neg” during the “boycott” and people drove her off twitter as well. Having a big account in the genshin community is playing with fire because these people will LOOK for reasons to cancel someone and dox them. I’ll try to find more info/screenshots of what I mentioned, but when it was happening I didn’t screenshot (poor planning on my part) and finding tweets from deactivated accounts is hard.

I've heard that this problem will only be exacerbated when the enhanced chink censorship finalizes in November: eg. exposed cleavage and bare thighs are not allowed if the game is rated G. Which makes me wonder if they bump the game's rating up or if they will retroactively censor things like this:

For World of Tanks in around 2015, it was mostly about balancing issues, the rigged matchmaking and elitism over the 49% status quo.Oh, and the pros really hated the mobile artillery for obvious reasons. I recently checked on the game after a few years and they finally gotten around to adding in a PvE because the mouth breathers couldn't figure out how to kill giant metal boxes.
There was an spinoff called Armor Warfare in around 2017 and it was more or less the same deal, but with actual PvE, loot boxes (which gave out resources and boosters), a customizable base that gave out bonuses (this might have been removed), and ATGMs because it has modern tanks.
The problem? Arty Party, despite the fact that there's a verbal warning about incoming shells and failure to reposition highlights you on the minimap. Plus, there was hardly anything new after a few months.

The account @hourlymika is trying to raise funds to get her tits chopped off. The problem is, she committed the cardinal sin of the genshin fandom: she ships kaeluc. People are not pleased.
That Kaeya’s wife person even got so butthurt they made a separate hourlymika account. Brainrotted.
This is fucking enstars + genshin drama which from what I’ve seen the two fandoms are heavily overlapped.

Bro they're not even siblings. Kaeya is literally a SEAnigger/Okinawan and Diluc is from NotGermany. I cannot fathom getting upset over your own incorrect interpretation of a game.

They excused it saying nonsense like "It's just a time-saving technique, everyone does it!", which is total bullshit. Some people even started to insinuate that critics of Genshin were being racist or xenophobic towards the Chinese for calling out just how many things it ripped off.
I'll see if I can find the exact threads I remember, there was one made this really douchey looking indie dev that got a nice bit of attention.
