This is about as stupid as the butthurt makers of shitty movies who used to respond to a bad review by Ebert by whining about Beyond the Valley of the Dolls, like anyone gave a shit. They're basically admitting their own movie is shit and can't be defended.

Ghostbusters is kind of like the vaccine to SJW pandering in modern media. Everyone who's got a dose of the filthy Sony "All critics are muh soggy knees" marketing is getting slapped in the face.
The guys that made that horrible game are bankrupt, the movie isn't doing all too well in the theatres (and is outright banned in China)... so I wonder how good the merch is selling. The "it's equally successful with boys and girls" could basically mean"both are avoiding it like the plague" and still be a correct statement.

Well, "Hysteria" already means "uterus" in greek and it was believed that hysteria was caused by a lack of semen that made the uterus wander through the body and clog arteries or push on nerves and thus leading to madness and (you guessed it): Hysteria.
So rather than inventing a silly name, we should ask bitchy women if their uterus needs a good dousing in sperm, so it stops pressing on their brains.

A film about a established pop icon whose original concept was creating a superhero for girls with social conscious ideas (by the time of its creation) is more well received than a cynical reboot of a classic dry humor comedy with nerd fighting ghosts. Shocking.

The only people I have seen mad about feminism in Wonder Woman are MRA in KiA.

Did someone who isn't a fan of RLM actually sit through Space Cop just to talk about female portrayals in it? Seriously? The thing is an homage to B movies. If they had more prominent female characters they'd purposely be offensive because B movies always made everything unintentionally offensive. Besides, RLM gets worse shit from their actual fans.

I'm going to go back to emailing Jay that's he a cuck while tweeting Rich Evans memes to Rich Evans. #juicyshaqmeat

To be fair, most movies in wide release lose some screens after two weeks since theatres are only obliged to keep the film up on screens that long. Although mega-bombs like Jem and the Holograms last year lost screens after the first weekend; I'm not sure if there's a clause where films that perform catastrophically (re: much worse than Ghostbusters did on its opening weekend) can be pulled earlier.

Ghostbusters 2016 isn't a bomb but it is definitely underperforming. Sony didn't make this movie to just "break even".

If I had to guess there probably is, but the theater has to be actively losing money when showing it. To the point where cutting it back to even just once a day wouldn't yield a profit. In that sense the Ghostbusters reboot isn't a complete and total disaster compared to Pluto Nash and last years Jem movie.
