GLITCH Productions - From the guys that brought you the Super Mario 64 bloopers

And don't forget the moral of the story from the King - "the worst thing you could do is make someone feel they're not wanted or loved". Very on the nose.
I actually thought the message was very wholesome. He isn’t wrong. And Zooble’s Dillema sorta makes sense. They are all being forced to have silly toy like bodies. It seems to be part of their torment. I doubt it’s even just Zooble. Gangle is being tortured with those masks controlling her emotions, and Ragatha’s body is well a rag doll, and so on.

That being said, yes knowing who is the creator of this show in real life, it does become suspicious, this is an obvious trans allegory. My points isn’t that I agree with that message. I don’t. Rather it is that without Real life behind the scene knowledge, in a vacuum It’s actually sorta nice.

I won’t be surprised if Goosework abandons the universally relatable message of people needing love, and goes mask off to turn it into a mere trans allegory. But as of episode 3, it’s not so bad. Yet.

This has been the overall take. Its very nice, relatable and well executed in a vacuum. However, the more you know about the shows creator the more suspicious and degenerate it becomes.

If they keep with the former, then I have no issues. I just don't trust a tranny to not go for the latter.

As long as it doesn't become so blatantly overbearing, none of us should have a problem with it right?

something much more egregious to me is the vore shit, I don't know if you people are aware of this but Goose has THAT fetish where people getting eaten/swallowed whole is an unusually common thing that happens at least once in his works, even here in the Digital Circus, fucking disgusting.

sometimes I wish nobody told me about that, but since I now know this, you will all share this curse with me.

i might sound off like a schizo, but remember you're talking about a guy that gets it off to drilling, voring might be the least egregious of his fetishes that he has, and since as the absolute faggot he is he decided to nudge people with his rethoric centered around his mental illness, what else could he decide to put on this show?

the well has been officially poisoned and TADC needs to be kept under even more scrutiny now, even if it succeeds at being a decent character-centric show.

yeah, this really was supposed to be a spotlight episode for zooble, problem is we didn't get that much.

if it turns out her entire purpose for existing is simply for Gooseworx to vent out his "personal issues" into his show, then I'm gonna have to put that as a big fat negative point against the Digital Circus, that is so gay and cringe

Y'know, something just hit me today... why would Tessa's hand work on the DNA scanner on Copper-9 in the first place?
Not only was she a child, but she presumably died BEFORE the research was begun on Copper-9 to try and counter the solver. So why would her DNA be logged on their systems if at all? Why would she even have any kind of clearance?

This one in particular really sticks out to me as making no sense at all. I know the answer is that Liam just didn't think at all but, wow. I guess it's just another addition to the pile of "Wow, how the fuck did he not think about this for even a second." things in the series.

Zooble's big deal being she hates her body when everyone in the circus has these non-human bodies they don't totally like just makes her sound especially whiny. She sucks as a character.

Honestly, my favorite character is Ragatha. She at least attempts to go along with the games and explains rules to Pomni instead of being an asshole, an emotional mess, wacky for the sake of wacky, or boring. I feel like if DC had the characters stay more on rails with the adventures and more goofy glitchy shit happens because IT'S A COMPUTER GEDDIT and that's what drove people insane over the episodes, it'd be more entertaining. Like trying to play a point n click but using actual human logic and that's what starts breaking it and the characters.

Honestly I wish he would stop spoiling shit in advance like he does because imagine the fucking shitstorm that we were deprived of when it inevitably turns out Jax is actually just an asshole with no redeeming qualities? Goose said that we're going to find out Jax either did, or is going to do something horrible. (Don't remember which.) and that he's the one who deserves to be trapped in the circus the most. The fanbase just assumed he was the lovable asshole type. Imagine if Goose said none of this, imagine the fucking sperging that we would have witnessed when it was revealed the funny rabbit was an absolute piece of shit? Hell, I admit I would've been caught off guard a little too. I just assumed it was gonna turn out Jax was the cliche "I'm afraid of connection so I act like an asshole and push everyone away from me because I don't want to feel loss again." types until Goose confirmed otherwise. I might have actually been mildly surprised! Can't have that.
To be fair people had a massive meltdown over Jax being an asshole in the second episode which was really funny

I think what they were going for is that only humans, no matter which ones, are only supposed to given access to the scanner, but the scanner didn't allow her, doing the foreshadowing that "Tessa" may not really be a human at all.

Humanity is shown to be insanely retarded in Murder Drones, so I guess it's kinda consistent in that regard?

Zooble sucks as a character because when your entire personality is apathy towards the big activity of the circus, what happens is she seems to just sit around and does fuck all most of the time, she does sets up the Kaufmo funeral and all, showing she still cares about her fellow performers.

I can only hope more can be done for her, because even in the episode where she is supposed to get some focus, it's not that interesting, even Caine had more stuff going on.

I guess you're right.

I wasn't talking about the raptor robots though. I was talking about the hand scanner that Cyn used to access the files or whatever pointless thing she was in the labs for.
But yeah if the system is just "Humans only" and no other thought put into it other than that, than yeah that's a pretty retarded system. Which I guess tracks since I guess in Murder Drones everyone is retarded.

EDIT: Okay yeah before posting this I went back to look and it literally just asks essentially "Are you a robot?" and I guess the finger print is meant to prove you're a human. No other security beyond that. I guess for whatever reason I misremembered it as more in-detail than that. I guess I should have known better.

I think I'm starting to realize how many people wanted more out of Murder Drones as a series than I thought.
I'm seeing so many people over analyzing the final episode making theories about how it's all a dream or whatever but I'm gonna be dead honest with you. I'm pretty sure Liam's intention is literally as simple as you think it is. They defeated the big bad guy and now they live happily ever after.

All those loose plot threads? Nah, fuck em, they aren't important.

Tried to get to their site to know more about this year's GlitchX, doesn't work, nice job retards

most likely leftover artifact shit from what could've been the 2nd season, I think bro just didn't bother to change it

I genuinely do think there was probably a lot of rewriting inbetween episodes behind the scenes that we simply weren't told about. Again it would explain why so many things are introduced and then completely forgotten about within the span of an episode.

And also explain all of the random characters that were introduced only to do either nothing or do something a main character could have done with little to no change to the story.

For this year's GlitchX, are they just going to advertise Indie pilots/projects like a game direct or something like What a Cartoon! or Liquid Television? And I better not see any Go-Fund-Mes for these joints because I want to watch this to relax not be at a fucking share-holders meeting.

Also Youtube made an official playlist of Indie animations at the start of this month that everybody knew about. Makes me wonder what the Indie scene would be if Google didn't fuck up Youtube Originals/Youtube Red.

GlitchX 2024 started about 20 minutes ago apparently. They announced the previous one a few months in advance. I didn't even know they started.

If nobody else does I guess I'll listen to the VOD later in the background whilst gaming or something to see if they say anything worth posting here.

Okay beginning to listen now as I type this. One thing I notice immediately is unlike the last GlitchX which was a livestream this is entirely pre-recorded. Not that there's anything wrong with that, just something I noticed. It's also way shorter than the first one. The first GlitchX was a whopping 4 hours long, whereas this one is only about 1. Not that I'm complaining it gives me less bullshit to sit through but anyway on to the actual information.

Alright after having listened through the whole thing whilst playing New Vegas.
... Not really much to speak of. 99% of the video is just trailers for indie animations series with the end being an interview with the creator of one. Oh yeah and there was like one segment in the middle where they did skits with the VAs but that's about it. Not really anything worth mentioning here. Correct me if you think I'm wrong or I possibly missed something.

Overall, yeah a bit boring. It was mostly just shilling indie creators without much creativity in it. As in like, it's basically just an hour long compilation of trailers essentially.
