I have no idea what the state of his comic is in the current day, but way back in the day, mind control featured pretty heavily for his snake lady character. She had like...a control leash or something, and there was an extremely uncomfortable moment where she gave it to one of the characters. I think it was supposed to be romantic, but it came off as incredibly creepy and rapey.

At a glance, pretty sure everything in that chart featured pretty heavily in some capacity in the comic when I was following Thunt (which I admit is many, many years ago) or in Thunt's tweets/blogposts. I missed the transitioning arc, but when I went back to read about it on the bad webcomics thread, it sounded like he was treating it as an extension of bimbofication, which is one of the big reasons I still refer to him as Thunt because I don't want to play into his fetish.

I mean, Thunts writing was always pretty awful, so it wasn't a bad assumption. I had to look it up, but that infamous "It hurts! It hurts like a sickness" line still makes me chuckle with just how badly it's written.

But the more Thunt revealed about his real life on his blogposts/twitter, the more it became obvious he was inserting his kinks into the comic. To give him the tiniest amount of credit, I don't remember the entire comic being a secret fetish comic in disguise, but...there was definitely a lot of those elements present. Like, the dude for sure has a crying fetish, if that wasn't specifically included on his creepy fetish chart.

I was going through the webcomics wiki thread and found an interesting post mentioning June: "On another note, isn't it interesting how June, the woman who was in such a poor position that Thunt did a fundraiser to help her out, is now Thunt's lifeline? How did they even become friends? I assumed she lived in Vancoover, but she lives in the States now. How did their relationship progress? First time we hear about her she's Thunt's friend that is loved like a daughter, and we don't hear anything else during the divorce, thunt going around having sex with multiple guys, and Thunt dating an OnlyFans model. There wasn't a followup and it's from about a month ago, but I'm definitely morbidly curious about what's going on with him and June.

They have an entire "making-of" feature where they hide Thunt and make absolutely no reference to him since it was all filmed under his original identity There's no indication who that one bald guy on the couch making the occasional suggestion is.

The trailer itself is no great shakes, but it's better than the source material in that it isn't crammed full of edgelord gore and fetish fuel.

It's hard to take (or believe) an accusation that sounds so childish. Like...the "wiggle wiggle" seems so juvenile that I'd expect to see it in one of his comics. And following it up by saying it made him feel "icky" really undercuts his supposed discomfort. Not to mention how much he tried to get people to lust after him when he was first trooning out. It feels like he's even fighting with himself at times trying to decide if he should use this to fish for sympathy, or turn it into a fantasy, which is another reason it feels like this is something he either made up or greatly exaggerated.

Having recently gone through a similar process, I have a bit of empathy, though not much. Looking at Canada's immigration stuff, it actually seems easier than the country I'm going to (for instance, a partner, if approved, can be a permanent resident immediately instead of having to go through several rounds of temporary visa bullshit first. Also, unlike the country I'm going to, apparently you *can* apply for the partner visa while hanging out in Canada as a visitor). In any case, Ellipsis is working to bring her child bride to Canada permanently.

The most shocking thing of all is he didn't launch yet another gofundme to cover the legal fees. Although, given all the other times he's turned to crowd funding for the smallest things, it's almost insulting to June that he hasn't. Maybe he's just waiting to receive a bill.

I guess it's good that he's actually getting someone who knows what they're doing instead of bungling things himself and potentially getting June in legal trouble, but it sounds like he's seriously underestimated how long it can take to get someone citizenship. I wonder if he's so quick to try and get her up there because he needs a replacement adult to handle all "icky" grown up stuff he can't be arsed to do...like find a proper place to live.

I don't know how likely it is that she's "waiting on a bill." I had to pay my lawyer up front before they did any actual work for me on my immigration stuff.

She's probably working hard on getting this done right now because the clock is ticking. June has already been there a month, and so she can only be there like five more months at the moment before she has to go back to Alabama. They're already getting off lucky, since in my case I couldn't stay in the country with my fiancée while we submitted and waited for my visa to process.

Funny side note: Ellipsis promised four comic pages this month (technically said something like "I really want to get four pages done in September") and she's currently sitting at...1. Despite having literally nothing else to do all day besides the comic.
