Goblins - Bad Webcomic wants to be a cartoon feat. Billy West, Jim Cummings, Steve Blum. Creator trooned out

Have fun analyzing the clutter in the RV if you wish, but here I want to focus on Ellipsis practically *begging* for validation that she didn't totally fuck up the girlfriend's life for the foreseeable future.

Who knows, your friends and followers may give that validation to you, Ellipsis, but I won't. On the off chance you're reading this, I think what you've done to June is really shitty, and I hope she dumps you and moves back to Alabama.

And that's saying a lot, because Alabama is one of the worst states the US has to offer.

I always wanted "Hoarders" to get a gritty origin story prequel.

Ellipsis's poor planning once again results in drama.

I don't think it's any secret that I respect Ellipsis's identity (I think her grifting and isolating a much younger partner and changing the rules of her relationship with her wife so abruptly and drastically that her wife clearly couldn't deal with it anymore are much bigger issues) but I feel like if she's so self conscious about her appearance that she can't have anyone seeing her as bald, then she should have taken a minute to put on a wig to get her driver's license processed again.

Driver's license photos are shitty. If you expect to have a good photo for your driver's license, you're expecting too much. This is lame and dramatic even by Ellipsis standards, and I feel really fucking sorry for the employee who had to deal with her immediately breaking into fucking sobs over this. Like, if she hadn't made a goddamn scene I'm betting no one else in the office would have noticed or cared.

I'm just confused why he didn't have his license with him to begin with? Especially if he was traveling to the States because he was homeless, it's not like he can just leave it at home, wouldn't he have to keep it on his person just by virtue of having nowhere else to keep it?

I'm guessing he accidentally left it at his former house, and the ex-wife, still sharing several major mitochondrial haplogroups with the Common North American Doormat, mailed it to him on her own dime.

It's probably that it needed to be renewed during that time frame and she didn't think to try to have it renewed*before* she fucked off to the US to have sweaty Alabama orgies.

I don't. Thunt is clearly AGP cooming. I think he started to get old, couldn't handle it, and decided to become a woman because makeup and wigs are acceptable for trannies but not for straight men. Add in his contact with with the webcomics world and seeing Trannies get what he wanted more than anything in his whole life - complete freedom from any judgement or having to take responsibility for his actions, and legions of frothing 'tards ready to spring to his defense should anyone say anything negative about him.

If Troons were held to the same standards as humans, he would have just hit hairclub for men instead of trooning out.

I think he also felt it was easier to act so emotional if he trooned out. Even before he trooned out, he acted like a spoiled princess. Not to say guys can't have emotional moments or whatever, but Thunt really felt like he was LARPing as a stereotypical 8 year old girl in a sitcom. Like, if you told me he lifted some of his previous tweets from a script of Full House, I'd believe it. I'll give him the faintest bit of credit, it feels like he's matured at least a small amount because he can state his problems like an adult, even if his responses to said problem are still infantile, but his old way of baby speaking and complaining about tummy ouchies was at best super cringe, and at worse, some creepy adult baby nonsense. I also have no idea if he's even stopped, I'm just going off of the few tweets I've seen which haven't included it, but in the past, he really seemed to ramp it up when he was complaining about something/begging for money.

I think this is a huge part of it, seeing as his response to criticism from internet randoms historically ranged from "lolcow outburst" to "for-real life-ruining mental breakdown". Dude can't cope outside the most heaviliy padded hugboxes, and the troon hugbox has the most padding of them all.

Kind of ironic that he can only make a living by drawing a gamer comic with edgelord levels of blood and maiming, that's inherently going to be a lightning rod for criticism.

In which Ellipsis whines about the bad deal she got (from an AirBnB, what the fuck did she expect?!) and ignores that she wouldn't be in this position if she's just stayed the fuck put for more than two or three months at a time. If she didn't keep bouncing between Canada and the US to maximize her sexy times with the polycule, she wouldn't be struggling to find stable housing at a decent rate.

Bonus: we have Ellipsis trying to get her much younger girlfriend to enjoy the incel-iest piece of trash Joss Whedon ever wrote, that literally no one cares about anymore.

So after two years, there is finally an update on the Indiegogo campaign for Goblins Animated.

Matt Yang King's wife's pancreatic cancer also came back in 2023, bad news.

Holy goddamn shit, what are those character designs? If it weren't for the skin coloring I wouldn't have been able to tell who the goblins were supposed to be, even being a former fan of the comic.

Like, for all its flaws, one of the good conceits of Goblins is that the goblins are cute little guys, and that character design flies completely in the face of that.

What's more, they all look like a bad Tartakovsky ripoff.

Thunt said:
I paid over $3,500 for this place, not knowing it was an RV.
I'm sorry, what?!
And then he just moved in anyway? And started driving it around even though he wasn't expecting to drive a house around? What??

Bonus: we have Ellipsis trying to get her much younger girlfriend to enjoy the incel-iest piece of trash Joss Whedon ever wrote, that literally no one cares about anymore.
You didn't ask, but I would also take this dude's gender more seriously if he wasn't an '00s "geek culture" bro preserved in amber.

No, she's not driving it around. She's just living out in the woods in the ass end of nowhere on some dude's farm.

In which Ellipsis whines about the laundromat in the shithole they're living in.

Oh yeah, June must be *loving* this decision to move to a foreign country (very likely without a visa herself) and live in the ass end of nowhere, Canada. I'm pretty sure wherever she was living in Alabama was better than this.

Jesus fuckity Christ.

So Ellipsis tries to create a new Amazon account using her girlfriend's credit card (instead of her own) and has the biggest surprise Pikachu face when Amazon's like "yeah naw". Like you're in Canada trying to use a card with a different name from Alabama. The hell are you expecting here?

Also why use your girlfriend's card?! Why not use your own?

Bonus: Ellipsis didn't do any fucking due diligence for this rental property either.

I can't wait for June to mature just a tiny bit and realize that this, like, 50 year old woman has almost zero capacity to do adult things properly.

Based on my admittedly very limited experience, Amazon gets pretty weird the moment you try and use a credit card outside of your country. I had my account frozen once when I tried to use it in the UK. It was literally resolved in under an hour and I don't remember having to provide any sort of documentation, so I don't know how Thunt managed to screw it up so badly.

Actually, thinking about it now, I wonder if the issue was they were trying to create a new account with a card that was already registered to an existing one? I have to assume the new child bride previously had her own Amazon account, so it might have kept getting flagged because they didn't close/link/do something else with the previous account. Especially if it was a US account and now a new CA account is trying to use the same information, that's bound to set off a bunch of red flags.

In any event, it's just another example of Thunt being unable to handle "adulting". Funny how every little task Thunt has to do ultimately results in a new twitter thread spanning a double digits amount of posts about how hard it was, even though he totally did everything right.

It gets even better: Ellipsis is using her girlfriend's credit card because she point blank doesn't have one, and her girlfriend's credit card was the one that was maxed when they had to pay for the emergency car repair in Bumfuck Nowhere, Canada.

June, if you ever see this, it is NOT NORMAL for you, as a likely 20 something, to have to finance life for a 50 year old. If your fifty year old "mommy" doesn't have her shit together now, she won't have her shit together five years from now when she's cheating on you with a younger girl she's groomed online.
