Didn't follow up on this, sorry.
Three or so weeks following this, on Feb 15th, he posted again saying he'd secured housing for "at least three months" and that his surgery was on the 27th. There's been at least two comic page uploads since then.

This thread is depressing, I always thought Thunt was a fuck up so it's not surprising, but being reminded that Diaz went from somewhat interesting artist to fetishist troon sucks. One thing that surprised me is I always thought the Goblins guy was a fat ass that looked like Ronny from Whomp.

How did he end up homeless? I though he grifted his fans into donating money for his house?

Did his wife finally kick him out? Was the house foreclosed on due to mortgage/tax issues?

Yes. His wife did kick him out and asked for a divorce in February/March 2023. Despite his words that "they left amicably" apparently the divorce was messy and he lost most of his friend circle, that predictably sided with the wife.

He almost ended up homeless earlier in 2024, but he managed to land a place in Alabama with "fans" for some months and now he'll be back in Canada and live as trailer trash until he manages to find something he can afford. Where does he gets the money, God only knows.

In more recent Twitter posts they alluded to the possibility that the wife might have rights to the Goblins IP and that might be a sticking point. So far they haven't elaborated further.

The most recent update I saw is that he's heading up to Canada with his new girlfriend and found some overpriced RV to rent for a month for almost $4,000. But oh no, what poor luck, he actually needs like another 2k because their car broke down and needed around $800 in repairs, but then broke down a second time because the first repair wasn't enough and he actually needs $1400, so he's launching yet another gofundme.

I was always bummed Thunt didn't have a bigger presence here. Even before he trooned out, I think he was a prime candidate for becoming an infamous lolcow, and since trooning out it seems like he's only become more of a trainwreck. Unfortunately, I think a lot of it boils down to poor documentation, which was why I stopped following him and continually forget he exists. One of these days if I ever have a bunch of spare time I might try and write up an updated thread that covers all of his greatest hits aka scams. I shudder to think how many I've missed since it's apparently been like, 5 years since I was really following him based on when I last posted here.

Ownership of Goblins, thunt's sole mechanism of ebegging support would have been a major "martial asset" and that makes sense. But HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAH.

Thunt is a massive grade-a lolcow, but I think he missed any social relevance by a decade or two, so now its just laughing at a gifting loser who isn't terminally online. Webcomics aren't really a thing anymore, Thunt's impact is pretty much just to his paypigs, and as he lives the life of a forest goon (now forest troon) his antics have poor documentation.

Their ebegging has increased in tempo. Ebegged multiple times just before the trip to repair the car, stopped off for "toys and treats" for the girlfriend's macaw not long into the trip, now they apparently hit a massive pothole and wrecked part of the back wheel and suspension, which has gotten them and the girlfriend stranded in bumfuck nowhere, Canada, with some implied ebegging for the "extra expenses."

NGL I feel really bad for the girlfriend. Uprooting her to Canada (without, I'm assuming, proper visa stuff so she can actually stay there with them) and having a disaster of a trip along the way is asinine, especially because I suspect the girlfriend is way younger than Ellipsis.
