Is there even anything wrong with the racial depictions? Not all slaves were abused, and plenty were happy to continue on with the gig after compulsory participation ended.Because as a product of it's time it serves as a reminder of how racial depictions in Hollywood have changed.

We MUST remove “Lord of the Flies” because it wasn’t inclusive and no characters were trans, homosexual, women, women of color, etc.
Timcast and various Youtubers vlog about this.
Btw, having streets named "Black Lives Matter" will become what every avenue/street/boulevard named Martin Luther King. Update the Chris Rock joke:"You're on BLM street!? Run!!!"
And that's nothing to be ashamed about. The next black person to win an Academy Award was James Baskett in 1948. It was a special Oscar honoring his portrayal of— wait for it— Uncle Remus in Song of the South.
Honestly, Tim has been getting madder and madder. I don't think its fair to call him a fence sitter anymore.
"scholar" is used looselyLooks like Gone With the Wind is coming back, with added foreword by some scholar
Seems unnecessary to me, since the people who will watch Gone With the Wind are either boomers or any adult interested in classic movies. Kids and teens aren't likely to watch the movie, and if they do, they sure won't pay attention what the scholar has to say about the movie.
Figured they're going to bore us, unless it's skip-able.Looks like Gone With the Wind is coming back, with added foreword by some scholar
