It sometimes works with children who have aspergers. Some who were huge spergs as kids, wouldn't fit the diagnosis as adults anymore.
Obvisously Chris is on a whole other level (also full blown autism).

Chris-chan prevented a cult from existing.

hear me out here.

Jacob Sockness wanted to start his own religion, and in his quest to become a literal prophet he stumbled onto Chris-chan.
reading the fascination and obsession people have on Chris-chan its likely that Jacob involved himself with Chris in order to get Chris to join his cult and perhaps drag a few of his observers to join.

Jacob is autistic so he probably couldnt differentiate Weens as ppl fucking with Chris from people who admire Chris and perhaps fuck with him time to time in order to mold him to what they want (which is what he planned on doing)

But the fact that Jacob failed to convince an autistic into believing his gospel and beliefs had literally fucked with his own ego that slowly it shifted into an obsession to try and convert and hold dominion of Chris in such an unhealthy way...

since if you cant convince a retard to join you, then how the fuck are you going to convince others to join you?

Chris is a constant reminder of what could have been were I not raised right. Sure thr physical abuse made me bitter, the psychological abuse shot my confidence, and the overt favoritism towards my younger brother made me resentful of being born a subhuman Autistic freak instead of a normal person. But at least I'm not a literal motherfucking rapist who thinks he's the Messiah. And I have one thing Chris Chan will never have: A job.
 
His art isn't the absolute worst, he would just need to put in some more effort, training, and using something other than Crayola markers. But of course that won't happen cause he's a lazy fuck.

Don't sell Chris short. He did briefly have a job at Wendy's.
 
I believe Chris was a good kid once. His circumstances turned him into what he is today. He became rotten because he wasn’t given the care he and therapy he so desperately needed. Robert should have cut down the internet.

He probably would have become a sex pest even without the internet, just a less perverted one. The love quest did not happen because of the internet.

Incels generally become either sex pests or hermits. It's human nature.

I think all the Love Quest stuff could have been prevented had the correct steps been taken earlier in his life. For instance I think having those girls pretend to be his friends was a misstep. I won’t pretend to know exactly what they should have done but I think what they did do fed and or developed issues that either weren’t present prior or existed in an otherwise manageable state.

Not sure. I don't think his behaviour towards women would have changed much. But Borb could at least not have pacified Chris with all those game consoles and toys.
Maybe then he would have learned the value of things and their relation to money and it's inherent scarcity if you don't have an occupation.

But you are right about his gal pals, that definitely fostered a behaviour in the same vein as all those toys. At some point he just felt entitled to it.

On topic:
I also think Chris's creativity is one of his strong points. His stories are not very good and he wouldn't be a good storywriter at all, but his ideas are very genuine and the resulting drawings give a lot of insight into his character. Of course that also resulted in a lot of terrible comics down the line, but still.

I think some fuckups would have been lessened or delayed without the internet's intervention, but there's two things about Chris that have always been constant even without trolls and weens in his life:

1. He will never, ever learn from his mistakes.
2. He will do literally anything for pussy.

Those two qualities mean he was always doomed to be a sex pest. In fact, the trolling may have given him something else to focus on for awhile and delayed the inevitable.
