Anyways, I’ve always been fascinated by this niche of the Chris fandom that exists just to A-log. They can’t sit back and just laugh at it all.. it’s like what keeps them coming back is using Chris as an excuse to rage. Like A Log himself.

And I think I figured it out.

Chris is a mirror to some people, and all the rage and hateful behavior is like an attempt to distance themselves from the part of themselves they see in him.

So, if you’re like that, and you can’t even think of a single redeeming thing about Chris… it’s probably because you’re a retard.

He actually abandoned his rampant homophobia, that’s something I imagine nobody here ever expected him to ever go though considering that classic Chris most famous feature was his fierce hatred of homosexuality. That’s genuine progress right there at least.

Chris just said he did, and most of the time, only when prompted by other people. While he may tolerate gay guys or men he thinks are gay, he's just learned not to be so open and outspoken about it.

I think in hindsight, he would only have strong opinions about issues or social constructs because this was what people around him would say/believe in and so Chris parroted whatever other people thought of at the time, or even when it would suit his interest to find China. This isn't necessarily exclusive to Chris himself, but it's very apparent with certain people who lack emotional intelligence and/or are on the spectrum.

First it was Borb, then it was all the sweethearts, then it was all the troons/queer people he meet with irl and on twitter, then the idea guys, then the Twitter enablers, then the Watchmen and most recently Janke and her clique. Can you really pin point a particular stance or opinion of his that doesn't include consoomerism or da merge that he has wholeheartedly come to his own conclusion too without any major outside influence from another party? Not really.

Chris may have only switched his stance on the guys because the blue check marks on twitter told him to hate on the homophobes and trump supporters.

Hmm, I’m not so sure, to be honest I’m starting to join the fairly new consensus of others here, that Chris was never truly homophobic but rather he parroted popular opinions of whoever he wanted to latch onto. What Chris really meant by hating on gays was rather him hating on males in general due to them being more successful hamdsome and better with women than him. Chris in general has always shown such contempt for the dominant male stereotype in general for reminding him for how ridiculously inadequate he is compared to most men.

They are a reminder of his constant failings as the supposed dominant sex since he lacks so few traits of natural ‘manly man’ it’s hilarious. His hatred of gays was simply an extension of his rage and jealousy towards those JERKS taking all the girls from him he felt he deserved. Chris didn’t stop being homophobic because he never was, he was just an extreme misandrist who was hiding that by masking it as homophobia. He probably still hates men as much as ever, he’s just better at hiding it as time went on.

Nah, in all seriousness him referring to himself as a lesbian trans woman really gives me a giggle considering a lot of the SJW's support that stuff. The fact they support anything when someone puts a label on themselves really gives me a giggle and should be a wakeup call to society.
 
In all honesty, his webcomic had this earnestness to it that I just find endearing. He genuinely believed he had something good enough to get sponsorship deals and the likes.

Chris has become, for better or for worse, a perfect mirror of the dumbasses who took it upon themselves to mess with the guy for literal decades. He's this odd relic of Web 1.0 buffoonery meeting Web 2.0 degeneracy, and stands as a reminder of the stark difference between the two.

He's like the perfect base example of being a genuine lolcow.
He had no growth or fall. He's not like an asshole redeemed, or a once interesting person who became a twisted freak.
He was always just Chris Chan.
He's entertaining for sure; but in a laughing at a wicked retard getting his comeuppance way, not from any genuine attempts by chris to be funny.
