I don't think eugenics would've worked here; it's more likely to be problems caused by geriatric parents (Yaniv and a few other insane/creepy/retarded cows were also the product of codger sperm) and lack of any special education or therapy. The kids Bob and Barb each had when they were younger, in previous relationships, have turned out pretty normal AFAIK, I don't think it's anything wrong with their genes.
