Ditto. Because the reality is, most Troons don't want to be women at all, they want to pretend they're women and be lauded for going against societal norms. Like a special third gender (almost appropriate that the Hedwig song 'Origin of Love' which has an entire stanza about this 'third gender' that's somewhere between man and woman is very applicable in this situation) that deserves more respect than 'cisgender' people of both sexes who are perfectly happy with how they were born.
 
I hate this game. It's so boring and uncomplete game, and the decisions don't matter. Worst thing a parody can make a decent story than this game is lame.


Even snoot game is a okeysh game for me, but in the juvenile adult story is one of the best i read and play.
 
I think GVH in its totality had 1 (one) moment about their queer characters that i liked due to it actually trying to depict something that queer people bump up against that isn't just the typical "they hate us for who we are" thing, the idea that one might be dismissed or not taken seriously anymore is just something actually pungent that could lead into further exploration.
Ofcourse this never happens and the moment is forgotten by the next scene and is never commented on again.

Its also what i like about fang in snoot game, the family situation of her parrents having given up and shifting their expectations onto naser feels more impactful then if it were some simple narrative of "my parrents hate me", the idea of having to deal with indifference and/or disappointment rather then outright hostility.
Furthermore it threads the waters of being in a period of great uncertainty and experimenting with identity, and the fact that not everyone that identifies as trans or nonbinary stays that way.
Perhaps it's offensive to the average politically correct minded twitter bot but from first hand account these things shift and change when people find footing in their lives through genuine care and support.

The way Anon accepts Fang the way she is in ending 4 and doesn't forcibly try to change her is what i like to see, you cannot bully someone to be someone else it's a change they have to make for themselves, and i like to believe that he would be willing to accept Fang the way she was even before she became comfortable identifying as a regular cis female.
He even makes sure to check what she is comfortable with (and at that point in time she hasn't changed her name back yet) and goes from there.

They could have easily gone the way of "anon epicly owns libtard ideology and instantly changes the mind of hot ptero gee eff" but this feels far more appropriate, life is messy and so are people, if you feel they're a mess don't try to clean it up for them just support and assist them whenever they need it.
Comes back to the core tenants of the game really.

Its kinda sad that the game has gotten this public image of being transphobic, there really isn't anything in it that is specifically framed with transphobia in mind.
The one section i know of where Anon actively tries to argue with Fang about this is the one where they both end up miserable because of it.
