Hm, could it be that the court had been just playing kick the autistic to add an extra year to his sentence? Which I assme will be very long and he'll propably die due to his obesity and stress sigh, though I doubt he'll neck himself. Too many ponies in his head to keep him entertained already.

Things will go boring, Autistic Thunderdome will be a nice home but I'll miss our crazy internet jester.

Man! Well, it's possible given how long most times it takes years for a criminal to be convicted. Imagine Chris' reaction to being told he has to return to jail and he's not getting anytime soon. To be a fly on the wall when he throws a fit.
And it's all (presumably) his own fault.

You guys think Chris fucked up a plea deal by either confessing to 'spirit binding' with Barb or outright refusing to say he's guilty?

When he made a plea deal for the fsilure to stop thing with our merchant friend Snyder he almost fucked it up by calling snyder a liar who didn't deserve a red cent. Which the judge ignored.

I 100% believe this might've went down here.

I’m retarded and don’t know anything about the court system but is there a possibility they offered him a plea deal to avoid trial and that retard said no
Defendants get offered many plea deals. A lot of this is just part of the negotiation process.
The idea of "I offered you a plea and you did not take it! We are going to trial" happens, but it is more of a Hollywood trope. Most prosecutors just want to get cases closed, they may tighten the screws or give you a worse deal closer to trial (or during trial) but they do not want to waste time on a long trial.

Chris going into actual trial is not the end. If he doesn't plea guilty (why would he at this point?) and actually gets tried, it means we will have some access to the courtroom.
Yes, he will most likely be found guilty, but at least we will get some milk out of it.
It'll be his lolcow swan song before he gets locked away.

I just did a Google search on what a grand
jury does:

The main purpose of a grand jury is to decide whether an individual should be charged (or “indicted”) for a specific crime, usually only serious crimes. Because of the purpose of this proceeding, it is usually one of the first procedures in a criminal trial.

So basically...

They're just trying to buy more time, almost like a Continuance or something.

It's not about buying time. All felonies need to pass a grand jury before they can proceed to trial. Its a filtering mechanism to prevent absolute prosecutorial cock ups from wasting the court's and defendant's time. Only needs to pass the "probable cause" test, aka the same one that lets cops turn your car inside and out because he thought you were acting weird. But it's a constitutional right in federal court and about half the states, and helps get rid of some of the most retardedly constructed cases.

Even Heilberg couldn't save Chris. Well this should certainly be a black mark on his otherwise professional law career.
"What's the one thing you're least proud of in your half century legal career?" "One time I defended a terrorist who killed 17 people with a sniper rifle, but that's nothing compared to... I'm sorry, it's hard for me talk about this. I don't think I can continue."

So I guess Chris pulled a Warski and refused to say he's guilty thus ruining any attempt at a pleadeal.

This redditor claims that he called and got "he's going to circuit court" as an answer.

It's funny because in Virginia circuit courts can issue death sentences

We don't know if pleas were even offered yet. Chris is now in multiple felony counts territory and based on what they indict him for, a plea deal my be offered.
Would that plea deal have more restrictions? Like actual Sex Offender registry and stay 500 feet away from Barb/14 BLC?
