I should make a rule where if you complain about a thread not being featured you just get banned automatically.

Post a TTS thread with a link to the outcome. Chris going to court is not a happening. Chris has been going to court every 4 months for the last 10 years since the site was up. If something actually happens, then it's a happening.

It's not even a trial. It's a grand jury trial. They're asking a grand jury if there's enough evidence to indict Chris for the crime. So we'll get a yes/no and then it moves down the road by another 4 months. Grand Juries are not super juries that are more cool and important than regular juries. There much less at stake than a normal trial.
Can we at least get a new thread? I'm autistic enough to care about all this stuff being in the thread for the wrong hearing.

Ah… yes, do not touch poo or you’ll get stinky. Weens who wrote him letters who thought it’ll just be harmless speculative fun, thinking it’s not like Chris can do anything in there, start panicking. For those out of state, would they get called to testify? How would all that work?
I'm no law expert, and don't even know if the letters would be admissible in court, but assuming this goes to an actual criminal trial, the prosecutor shouldn't be able to show the letters to the jury without having a witness to testify on the foundation of the evidence at hand. I would assume that this would go for any audio recordings as well.

You're still cool in my book, despite that. You're doing god's work by explaining this shit.

I can't help but think Heilberg feels some sort of sense of failure that he couldn't just get Chris out of all of this, even when he's been optimistically telling Chris he'll find a way to get him out. It only stalled the inevitable.
I doubt Heilberg thought that he could get him off.

It seems more likely that he was trying to get Chris as light a sentence as possible.

Chris probably just assumed Heilberg was going to get him off because he is Chris and the hero of the story.

If this is the case, the Grand Jury and arraignment will be rushed through to get the deal agreed to before Chris has a chance to change his mind.
I've never participated in a grand jury or seen one, they are usually closed. But I would think all the prosecutor would need to do is show the texts or transcript of Chris admitting he had sex with his mother, and that she said to stop. Viewed in the light most favorable to the state, that is all that is needed for an indictment.

Dude. It's Chris.

Sonichu probably came to him in a dream and told him to fight the charges and if he was found guilty he would break Chris out.
true, it is chris we are talking about, a man whose tard luck has so far gotten him out of any serious consequences for all kinds of stuff, including hitting snider with his car.
chris was pissed then, but he took the plea deal. but i guess i failed to realize how far mentally he has fallen since those innocent days of the gameplace saga. so i concede you are probably correct here.

While something like this should never happen to anyone, it's Barbs own doing and I'm positive Barb was consensual. But, being decent human beings (the court) I'm pretty sure they don't want to drag her down more than she already is. I mean she's a terrible person, but:

she's also old af, no real family, no real income, who's now outed to having sexual relations with her retarded son who's also the village idiot, and is already despised in the community (both her and Chris) Lawyers may not have souls. But they do have standards, unless you know. Scorched earth, balls deep bring her to the stand, etc.
By Chris' own admission she didnt want it, but Barb at this point is basically a breathing corpse so she couldnt fight back. That isnt even covering the possible dementia she might have.

They have him on tape with Bella admitting to forcing himself on Barb. Likely even told the police "she didn't want to at first, but gave in" (paraphrasing here) in his interrogation when they coaxed it out of him.

It's not going to play well. He knew what he was doing was wrong and went through actions (however poorly) to conceal his crimes which means he's "smart" enough to know right from wrong, so even tisms ain't going to play too well.
Chris has always had a fucked moral compass because he sees laws as suggestions not rules. To him things like stealing, rape, murder, all of that was only bad because his parents told him it was bad, and his parents were the only people that had some sort of leash on him (well Bob did Barb didnt give a shit)

Even if they don't plan to use it, you don't think they would send out the process servers to document the evidence in case they need it?

so how was it sent to grand jury, was our theory correct that chris was arrogant enough to not plea out guilty.
was the judge and courthouse so tired of chris and the weens bullshit they want to make an example out of him
maybe the evidence was so disturbing they feel they have no choice. i imagine in that small town, they almost never get crimes this disgusting.

Every ween who documented Chris talking about banging mom or wrote him letters in prison had better be ready for the subpoenas to arrive. It's time for all the weens to start lawyering up. They are going to be dragged out into the public.
This made my hour, thanks.

Yes, Google.

If he didn’t know it was wrong then why would Chris lie that it never happened? Sounds like he knew he did something wrong and tried to cover it up in his usual incompetent manner.

There's ample evidence that proves Chris knew what he was doing, but the fact he was trying to walk it back in the letters proves he grasps what he did was wrong and as usual trying to engage in revisionist history to make himself look better.

Especially the parts where he outright throws his mom under the bus to the same end. For somebody claiming to have done the deed repeatedly to 'save' somebody, subsequently blaming that person undermines the whole thing, too.

You think he exhausted all his options or he just decided to accept that Chris was fucked?

The former leading to the latter, probably. This is Chris we're talking about, he likely believes that so long as he doesn't say he's guilty, nobody can call him guilty.

We know Chris is getting worn down - the rebooking picture of him after his stay at Western State was worth a million words. Truly 'his smile and optimism; gone' territory.

God I can only imagine Chris got angry about having to admit to his crimes and threw a shitfit.
I would expect so - he exploded back at the Snyder trial when Snyder won, with the whole 'doesn't deserve a red cent' remark.

The situation is far graver for Chris now, which is remarkable when you consider the Snyder trial almost involved attempted vehicular manslaughter.
