A full fucking year of everyone on /v/ shitposting about this game. Also Miami doesn't have nearly as many blacks in it as this trailer makes it look like it does. A more accurate demographic mix for the area would be: old white people, young hispanics and whites, and the occasional black person. Fuck you rockstar for announcing this shit so early.

Ive been to Miami on vacation and all I saw was niggers. At the beach, downtown, they're not from there but nignogs come from all around to get shitfaced and twerk on top of cop cars. My wife, whose Nigerian by the way, was so utterly repulsed by the sights there that we ended up leaving Miami early. This trailer accurately depicts the culture and demographics you'll see, especially in the touristy areas.

The racial make-up of Miami has whites as a minority. Doubtful. The 3D era lore and the HD era lore are two separate universes. Ray Liotta and R* ended on amicable terms. They even gave a farewell to him after his death. I feel it's more of him not understanding video games as a respectable medium. It went better than Burt Reynolds and VC.

I did bring up the possibity they could bring a similar equivalent of Tommy. He wouldn't be called Tommy but he would be implied to have been in charge since since 80's and be very feared but him getting on there in years no doubt makes some aspiring players get ambitious but none of them have the power of diversity and plot armor on their side.

If Rockstar made another 80s game like Vice City, I'd rather they did it as its own standalone "game" like LA Noire or in the vein of how Red Dead Redemption is its own brand instead of shoving it under GTA. Miami is a weird city tbh because it used to just be a little town and then coke money happened. The neon city part of it has always been a facade tbh because every glitzy oceanfront hotel and restaurant still had murderous cartel members running it and the outskirt neighborhoods have varied between uber rich and poor ghettos doe a while. So on that front I guess they definitely hit the nail on the head, people romanticize the hell out of Miami but it's all for show.

I will also feel like defending Rockstar in this specific instance. GTA games have you mainly interact with the criminal underclass, which in Miami would have an overrepresentation of melanin infused beings. On top of that, it is realistic for depictions of Miami in the early 2020s to have lots of melanin infused beings in certain parts of the city because it has become infamous for having many melanin infused beings go there for Spring Break. Someone pointed out that a lot of melanin infused beings spent their Pandemic Unemployment Insurance on going to places like Miami for spring break, which meant that there were multiple airports and cities all over that had a sudden larger amount of melanin infused beings for a certain period of time. Imagine the diversity that was spread around so abruptly and quickly thanks to the wonders of modern technology and finance!

Finally! Not super impressed thus far.. Doesn't seem like anything but a content change. Certainly doesn't seem like the usual upgrade we've come to expect from RS. (III > VC >>> SA and IV > V) Hope they are leaving some big stuff out. They certainly had enough time.. and with still more than a year to go.

Music was on point though.. Fills me with some hope for the music in general.

Also not a fan of the modern setting. A lot of what made VC so great was the era it was set in. (same with SA) Iconic. What does modern VC have to offer? Not much that i'm interested in. It's the problem that all the new era GTA games have faced. Boring soulless era's. In addition to the realistic super serial take on things. I have a feeling that the original VC is still going to come out the better game.

Girlboss MC confirmed as suspected. sigh Why is the population of new VC ~65%+ black people? I mean this isn't just a large number of them in cutscenes, it's everywhere! 14% becomes 75% in clown world media I guess. Also seeing a lot more "realistic" body types than would care to. I wonder if they are going to backtrack on the (female) nudity and god knows what else.

Honestly this is a gift for all the racists out there, because now they can personally reduce the black population in-game by going on rampages.

Expect police turned up to 11.. Look at the cucking they did more than a decade ago on this point. (police that can't be turned off for more than 5.00 minutes at a time, 3 stars = death etc) Now imagine in the current year, in a game full of black and brown people.

What i'm really scared of is some sort of special protections for certain groups of something. I already suspect that certain types of people will probably get insta wanted level protection.

You know, I always wondered why the invincibility cheat would randomly turn itself off in R* games. Some missions it would stay on, other missions it would be switched off afterwards. Every R* game is like that, too. Way back in RDR 1 I remember thinking "what is so hard to code about an invincibility cheat?"

I know this is probably going to sound like sacrilege but I wouldn't mind if the size of the map ended up being the same as in V, hell, I wouldn't mind it being even 25% smaller. Just make it more dense with more stuff to do like in Yakuza. I'm tired of these gigantic maps where theres nothing to do and you have to travel for 3 or 4 minutes to do a fetch quest.

I know Rockstart can't really pull the trigger on a smaller and denser map. People just aren't ready for it and there would probably be riots outside their offices.
