Anyone playing online on PS4/PS5, solo or in a crew? I kinda really like the online concept but those damn kids screaming into their mics with no concept what to do in a simple heist drive me insane. UTC/GMT +1 here, free to play in the afternoon and evenings, preferably without mic because I love listening to true crime podcasts while blowing virtual peoples brains out but happy to communicate via discord. My level might be low (100'ish?) but I've been playing for ages on my old Xbox and I'm capable of following instructions, it really ain't that hard.
I don't think you're going to get any biters bro.
'specially not with your join date.

Nice try FIB, you're not getting my information.

Misgendered? You are a newfag.
Oh, we know you are: a genderspecial faggot. Get out of here and take your hormones somewhere else.
You sound a lil mad about women being gamers too, maybe that's a hormonal problem? But alright, got it, I ain't no manchild who needs to throw a temper tantrum when he's not being welcomed somewhere, I just leave and avoid in the future. Like a fucking adult.

Obbe Vermeij was interviewed by GameHub.com a few days ago.
I really don't get why there can't be a GTA: London. Dan Houser said it's because of a cultural difference with Americans, this guy said it, others have said it, but not only has there been GTA games set in London, but there was also The Getaway and The Getaway 2, both of which are very close to GTA in nature. As far as Americans not getting the references or cultural details, that's simple enough, just have the character be American and have a partner or mentor or whatever be British and occasionally explain what just happened.

The interview confirms a couple previously known tidbits about GTA such as no bikes in GTA 3, a cut zombie game, and Houser's direct influence in storytelling from IV onward. That's good.

Quick correction from Vermeji, he said that Watch Dogs did not make a profit. That's false. Watch Dogs made its money back from Ubisoft from its release. I think its initial budget was $68 million.

I understand the sentiment about GTA IV being lesser than San Andreas in terms of gameplay and scope. However, I personally disagree with that design decision being an hinderance against the overall experience. IV was going for a grounded, gritty, mature take on criminality compared to its predecessors.

To be frank, the many minigames in the 3D era, they helped with variety but they were monotonous.

ta-ta faggot.

Do you think GTA VI is going to be the game that makes the $100 release a reality?

Rockstar haven’t said anything about $100. This is just something that the internet has decided.

I think that they probably won’t do that because, although they haven’t said anything about it either, they will have a GTA VI online component and they’ll be thinking we want the biggest user base we can possibly have.

Rather than trying to cash in that extra $30, I think they’re just going to make it a regular priced game and then make the money on the back-end in the years to come.

I want to believe that, but remember that Take Two released the first $70 MSRP game with NBA 2K21 next gen. A YEARLY SPORTS GAME was the first to cost $70, and included pay to win microtransactions.

People bought GTA V at least twice in its lifespan. GTA Online makes about half a billion dollars a year. It's a matter of whether Rockstar or Take Two would not be greedy enough to make that jump.

At least twice. It was released on the PS3,4,and 5 or the XBox 360, One, and X/S, as well as PC. Either platform has three generations to purchase.

It's especially prevalent in open world games, and why I tend not to even bother, unless you're talking like say, GTA IV.
GTA IV has 200 pigeons scattered around as "hidden packages." At least in the 3D era, excluding VCS, they were floating objects hidden in the cities, but somewhat noticeable. And they rewarded you with pickups. In IV, you have to find a small model of a bird and listen for cooing. How fun.

You get an in-game URL to a website that has the location of every flying rat, car for Stevie, et cetera in the game once you complete the final story mission

Sure, but the reward is shit. Your rewards for collectibles in IV are what? A Helicopter that you need another helicopter to get, and removing the stupid ammo limit, but you still need to buy the ammo.

Is GTA Advanced any good?

YouTube reminded me of GTA 5 skit creator ItsReal85vids. He doesn't upload much, so I forgot about him. I see some new videos from a year or so ago.

One of them has DJ Pooh as a guest. Man is making moves.
