I wonder what pay2win mtx bullshit they're gonna peddle for GTA 6 Online. I miss GTA 4 online. I had so much fun getting into car chases with other players, glitching inside of the one building at the airport and taking out anyone unfortunate enough to walk by. GTA 5 online was terrible and I only touched it once. The fucking orbital cannons, the flying goddamn motorcycles with weaponry, the shark card bullshit. I hated it. I hope they smarten up for GTA6O and not do mtx shit, but I know they will. Greedy fucks.

Rockstar always fucks up their online shit. I quit playing GTA for the reasons you mentioned, in addition to all the fucking Chinese/Russian hackers. I used a PED dropper to amass around 300 mil, bought all the vehicles, aircraft, boats etc and then never played again. I was stoked when RDR2 was announced for PC but I knew the online component would be dogshit, and sure enough, it was. Dull and too grind-y.

All GTA games have been full of parody and mockery of various groups and sleazy or cringy characters but you didn't see any of that parody in the first teaser trailer that came out 2 years before the game, you only got to see that in the damn game.

The RDR2 story mode was beautifully done, with a majestic setting, but Online remains very underdeveloped (as of six months ago when I last looked), understrength. GTA: Online seems infested with aim botters and flying 🏍. Land of cheats (I only rained money sometimes) and Shark carders. Again, I liked the story mode.

I don't think there'll be any way to make Chica and Cuck interesting, and as nice as the wetlands and the Keys look, I don't think it's worth it. Gameplay will be decent, but you know there's just going to be something that they royally fuck up.

There's a difference between simply being cautious like you say now and whining that a game company is seriously trying to psyop everyone into yaaaasqueening the gratuitous display of twerking niggers shown in a teaser trailer to a videogame set in modern day Miami of all places, like you had any real evidence of that being the case.

It will be monetized up the ass in every potential way, don't forget who owns Rockstar. FiveM and all those admin powertrip servers turned out to be such goldmines that they bought out the team behind the whole deal, I'd take that as a precedent to what might entail in the online mode for this one.
