I think female characters in GTA Online have smaller hitboxes. Even so, it's negligible.


My money is still on Dildo Dodo (the mission with the Seaplane dropping leaflets) and Supply Lines (the infamous Zero mission with shooting down armed vans with a Red Baron) being the most difficult missions in GTA history, flying or otherwise. Actually, let me add another mission. That mission in VCS where you're flying a helicopter with a magnet and you have to catch a car being gunned down.

Now that I think about it, flying in GTA is easy compared to other games that incorporate flying. They just use one analog stick and a couple buttons.

Dildo Dodo does blow goats but I think The Driver is the worst mission in VC. There's just too much left to chance. You can be driving perfectly and the get run into at the last second and lose the race.

Supply Lines got easier for me when I treated the plane more like a glider and used the gas very sparingly.

It's not as big of "chance" as you think it is. Cops in that mission are scripted. You would need to get a head start, and keep it, against Hillary whenever possible.

The RC plane mission pissed me the fuck off, but god damn I fucking hated The Driver. Not only was the mission itself hard, but in the end it was pointless anyway because the driver character gets killed during the bank heist, so you end up driving the getaway car yourself anyway. That always irritated me above all.

I was going to ask how you conflate "make money" with "make good product" but your second sentence cleared that right up for me, rabbi.

I'm not all that disturbed, I'm looking forward to the drama that is 100% going to unfold after release when they realize they turned a bunch of gamers loose on a world with a majority black population of murderable NPCs. The tiktok shorts are going to be great.

Meh, I'm not very optimistic about GTA6. Not with the way major game devs are these days, ESG bullshit requirements from investment firms, and Rockstar themselves making it clear that they want to move away from their old "frat boy" image and how there are now "certain groups" they'll no longer make jokes about. I was never big on the old GTA games. I liked RDR2 a lot, but even that game had some questionable stuff in it compared to old Rockstar games.

make it more dense with more stuff to do like in Yakuza. I'm tired of these gigantic maps where theres nothing to do and you have to travel for 3 or 4 minutes to do a fetch quest.

It’s nice in Yakuza because there’s a lot of stuff to do, enter, and the city feels like a city and is rounded out compared to GTA which just feels like you’re going through Google maps on street level. Rockstar definitely needs something more in its cities instead of its only game play options being Driver (1999) or Mass Shooting Beat a Hooker simulator. That emptiness worked in RDR2 because of how sparse the population was but in a city it just feel useless. Which is my biggest complaint with open world games. What’s the point of making a giant city with unlimited freedom when only less than 5% of the total area is enterable.

These games stopped being good when they got rid of the cheat codes for turning off police and making pedestrians go crazy.

Exactly! I could never decide whether it was for the new "super serial" turn or cucking out to fear of bad press... or both. It really takes a lot of the fun out of it. Especially when enemies and criminals set off the police just as easily. Not to mention how they just go off sometimes when you scare or bump someone.

They made the Scalper-kin unkillable in Red Dead 2, and the amount of anita-tier moments unabashedly spread throughout it should have been a massive red flag back in 2018 that rockstar was going the way of the rest, that and 85% of their "old west" being Sub-Saharan Niggers.

Reminder to be skeptical of whatever is in GTA VI as a product since it will most likely end up as a multiplayer money printer like GTA V has been for the last decade.

Between old heads leaving Rockstar, them going back and censoring the older games, how completely uninspired the trailer looked, and how boring/on rails RDR2 was, outside of being a multiplayer addict I can't imagine getting excited for this game. People coping with GTA always being about satire are going to most likely get hit with a game that is doing the most shallow and basic "satire" we've seen in every major movie/game release over the last ten years, the same exact topics, the same exact talking points, there isn't going to be anymore actual edge like the franchise was once known for.

My guy, I think you're the only one that cares about the 13/50% crime statistics of GTA 6, everyone else is going to be busy jizzing themselves that they got a new GTA after 12 years

Everyone around me are losing their minds over the trailer and I couldn't feel more apathetic towards it because:
-I don't really play on console and it will be a year or two before the game arrives on PC
-expanding on the last point: GTA pc ports are ass
-Didn't like IV and i didn't play V
-AAA releases for the past few years have been very MEH
Although I gotta say I am mildly interested in the game being more than just vice city.
