You seem adamant that the game making money or being popular means it will somehow be good, and seem even more invested in the melanin aspect of it than the people openly shitting on it are. Even if they made every character a gleaming white Aryan prodigy the game would probably still suck because the people who had genuine wit and humor beyond tiktok memes and influencer shit are gone. The franchise has been steadily steering toward an even more retarded and terminally online audience base who thinks good missions in a crime game have to involve shit like celebrity cameos from rap artists. Throw in the woke ESG shit diluting the humor and making sure the game only ever punches toward Permissible Groups and it's going to be a skeletal hull of GTAs glory days for anyone not easily impressed by goyslop. With all the serious issues the game has going for it the least they could have done was give us decent NPCs and not uggo sheboons.

Will it be a workable engine that provides fun for people just wanting to drive cars or fuck around with mods? Yeah definitely, and it looks nice to boot. But for anyone hoping GTA will be returning to being a "once in a generation story" type series, those people are naive. Rockstar has too much of a leash now.

Although I gotta say I am mildly interested in the game being more than just vice city.

From the leaks we know there is at least 1 other somewhat major town (Major enough to have its own Police Department instead of using Sheriff Cars) in game, and I doubt the map will be smaller than RDR2's map. Doubt we will see another major city like some rumors say, but there will at least be a Town bigger than Paletto Bay on the map.

EDIT: Someone on the GTA 6 Subreddit has posted about how the city we see in the first start of the trailer (in the distance) is actually Tampa and not Miami, so we might have 2 big cities in game.

To add to a point I mentioned earlier in this thread, the demographics are actually completely on point. I've seen a lot of people mention that Black people d are only 12 percent of the population of Miami. That's true. But that's only if you count the City of Miami. As it stands in miami and other major metros in the United States, there are a large amount of self governing local jurisdictions which often surround the core city (other examples include Atlanta, LA, and Kansas City) and are thusly often counted in the census together with that core City in order to better illustrate what the metropolitan area carries as its population. In the case of Miami that metro area consists of Miami-Dade County, Fort Lauderdale and its County and Palm Beach County with a population of 6 million of which 18% are black.
That's a million blacks in driving distance of Miami Beach and remember that Miami is an international tourist destination and its located in the 3rd most populous state of the country at 21 million people where the black population is 15%. Any single spot in that state which is concentrated on as the prime vacation spot for that demographic will look like that to some degree year round and the video footage other posters have given shows it.
