Why? GTA Online prints more money than the US Mint. I suspect Rockstar could carry on for years with positive cash flow by doing nothing but coasting on GTA Online's revenue.

To be clear, here's what i think is going to happen: when the game launches broken and "underperforms" (and by that i mean rakes in billions of dollars, but not as many billions of dollars as they were able to milk 5 for because the multiplayer will be a flash in the pan a-la RDR2) this will result in mass firings because they spent 2+ billion on the game, and cause a cascading failure in the AAA western gaming industry.
They do if it's GTA 6 and has the slightest risk of not making money.

I know GTA Online and Red Dead Online were released a month or so after. I can see them releasing the multiplayer on release day. If all the microtransactions are out the gate, that would definitely mess up their economy. Less people, less money, less ROI.
I can't say. The only GTA game I liked was Chinatown Wars.
From personal experience, liquids are actually super easy to clean on higher-end laptops with drainage holes.
