I do think that something like this is what I'm apprehensive about.

Based on the kind of shit that was observed in RDR2, you can be rest assured that the writing for GTA6 would be all kinds of faggot ass goyslop.

Even with the 1 year delay, you know damned well that the narrative, the writing and the horrible looking main character bitch will stay just the same. This is probably to do with general polish and better fleshing out how online shit will work.

I would absolutely love to be proven wrong but we can't have nice things in current year...

For what it's worth I'm sure the game will still be decent besides the obvious woke elements. Even American Krogan admits RDR2 is still a good game in that video.

For those still buttmad about the suffragette mission, consider the following:
Dutch has told Arthur to infiltrate the Grays and Braithwaites.
Beau and Penelope are the youngest family members and also compromised by their relationship
Arthur is a conman, he will realise this is an "in"
Helping Beau and Penelope means they owe him.
Dutch has told the gang not to cause trouble in Rhodes. Bombing a bunch of suffragettes might just be construed as "trouble".

It's like none of you pay attention at all to anything anyone says in the game. If it makes you feel better, there's a suffragette you can murder in Saint Denis if you want and the woman from the Rhodes mission dies before the end of the game, Penelope tells you this.

As for being pirated, i bet part of that $2 billion budget is new intrusive DRM that will make game almost impossible to pirate. Probably will be like the newer COD on PC. However every Autists in the piracy scene will be trying to figure out how go pirate GTAVI

despite shit like the Feminist Rally mission in Chapter 3, I do find RDR2 to at least be enjoyable, my biggest issue with GTA V is the point a to point b mission design making the Open World fucking meaningless aside from dicking around and massacring random civilians. ill be more apt to get VI if its more like RDR2 but I have a feeling their going to go full slop with VI and make the singleplayer story barebones bullshit to barely satisfy singleplayer gamers and then fully focus on GTA Online 2 to Jew normalfags out of more money

It will. But there will also be plenty of downloads that say it’s the pirated version of the game but will have some nasty malware/ransomware.

Somewhat GTA related since it's a Rockstar game and English Ben is a GTA speedrunner. I just finished watching his horrendous playthrough of the Warriors. I grew up with this game and it's disgusting how thoroughly he trashed it because of his own ineptitude.

-Constant whining about the amount of fighting the game has,even though it's a Beat Em Up, and dies constantly because he rushes into groups of enemies and gets overwhelmed
-Constantly upset over characters being called fags and faggots, even though it's a game from 2005 about a movie from the 70s about a street gang, not exactly a politically correct time period
-Constantly forgetting gameplay mechanics and crying about how he keeps dying again and again, which leads to him insulting the developers multiple times
-Bans people in chat for back seating, even though they're just giving him tips on how to progress.

He really is British DSP. The final fight against Luther is extremely basic and he's whining the whole time.

An annoying section of a game isn't good because some line of dialog achtually makes it make sense. That argument is retarded because every situation in the game is fake and made up, the cool scenes feel cool, and the lame scenes feel contrived. The writers can cut scenes that have no weight or purpose and aren't fun, and replace them with good scenes. Every game that forces you to RP walk through a boring exposition dump for some contrived reason has at least one bad mission that should have been cut or reworked, and RDR2 is no exception.

the newer cod isn't cracked because it's shit, not because it's hard to crack.
that's the best DRM for any game, make it shit and see no one interested in cracking it.

thats what will unfortunately happen if I had to guess, if VI launches at $90-$100 on PC its basically certain some normalfags will try to get into piracy and fail miserably resulting in their PCs getting bricked

A pet peeve of mine is when I see a modern day video that features GTA: SA footage, they ALWAYS use the "Definitive Edition". I know it's in HD, but it looks butt fucking ugly. It's LITERALLY the mobile phone port upscaled into HD. It's complete garbage, which everybody knows. But it also looks like shit. I get mad every time I see it whether it be b-roll footage or a video discussing the general game itself and not specifically that version. Just use some kind of HD mod of the original or something if it's such a big deal.

One of my favorite YouTubers, The Professional, does these lore videos on the GTA games. He used to use, presumably, PS2 to PS4 footage of the 3D era GTAs for those lore videos. Now, he used the Definitive Edition footage for them now, which looks uncanny.

Correct, you could make killing suffragettes an instant wanted level, same with other "protected groups". Alas, that would be "problematic", so we can't have that option at all, even tho you can kill almost everything else in the game.

Why would you want to kill children in a video game? I'm legitimately asking; it's not a gotcha.

Fallout and GTA are two different series. This actually reminded me of a GTA 3 Q/A where somebody asked R* if children were intended in GTA III. Obviously not, the bad PR would be astronomical.

Another topic with that: there was a cut mission failed encounter from Bully where Jimmy Hopkins was able to DIE from being pushed in a vat of acid by a boss. Forget the bad PR, it would be morally reprehensible to even consider having something like that for the player to do in free will.

From earlier talk from the dev team its clear GTAVI at least started woke, I say started because with an insane one billion budget I doubt the investors seeing wokeshit like hyenas and concord burn thru more than half of that and delivering absolutely nothing will stay quiet so its possible there's been some pressure to tone that down to tolerable levels.

I think the real shit (screencap this) is that the whole campaign will be co-op only. GTAV already made the bulk of all its money from GTAO, and making the campaign co-op means you have to be online which makes piracy virtually impossible unless they allow local co-op (doubt) or make the other character AI in single player mode (see how shit the AI in GTAV is and imagine how that will go). Back when V launched this would've been a retarded move but back then nobody was wasting hundreds if not thousands of dollars for fake in-game money to buy virtual shit, gamers have no dignity anymore and butthurt aside (and there will be tons over this) they will still buy the game.

Best case scenario you just have to switch between these 2 characters instead of the trio from V.

It would still be a retarded move to make the game forced coop. You are 100% going to be switching back and forth like GTA V. Most gamers don't play online, and most of the people who play online haven't bought a shark card. All they would be doing by forcing coop is making a large share of the people who would buy the game not play the game. The lost sales from piracy wouldn't be worth the lost sales and ill will the forced coop would generate.

As for that point about gamer dignity, I really wonder how much the failure of RDR2 online and Concord will have on the game. Maybe they're old news now, but I got a GTAO survey email from Rockstar a while ago, so it doesn't seem like they feel like they really understand their audience at the very least. Or, at least they aren't confident gamers will just suck up any slop that gets put in front of them anymore.

IV's GTAO sucked balls, this co-op would be more like the co-op in Gears of War, but no splitscreen else the PS5 would shit itself trying to render it, and it would defeat the purpose of thwarting piracy.

For me its clear R* only wants to milk the main GTA dry now, they don't care about doing a mobile GTAO even as gatchashit is raking it in, they completely abandoned GTASAVR, they haven't made a new game besides GTA since RDR2, and their next game is going to be a remake of Max Payne 1 and 2. R* hasn't have a brand new game IP since LA noire 14 years ago.
