Cirrhosis here seems to have fallen for the classic blunder of conspiracy theories: if this "deep state" is omnipotent and LITERALLY EVERYWHERE ALL THE TIME, why would they NEED to kill Trump? It's only treason if you directly attack the United States or ally with a group or nation we're in an open war with. We are not at war with Russia. We're rivals, sure, but we're not actively shooting at each other. For this reason, neither Clinton nor Obama committed treason either. Now, if someone takes cash from ISIS for some reason, yeah, that's treason, because we're at war with ISIS. Just because it's not treason doesn't mean laws weren't broken. It's not all or nothing. There are many other laws that could have been broken.
