The demo they released in December is pretty decent all things considered, there are some rough edges but the point of the demo was to receive feedback and afterwards they said they've taken several things to heart.

I'm not entirely sober as i write this, so excuse my shit grammar as i autistically rant.

From my brief time involved in the HL modding community, this is pretty accurate. Most people are obnoxiously faggy and will go ballistic over a single joke or opinion if it has even the slightest hint of edge or wrongthink (especially about troons). Almost any westerner I've met within the community is a troon or genderspecial. More-so if you've ever had the displeasure of seeing the Half Life discord like I unfortunately have, it is almost entirely infested with short-tempered, obnoxious and disgusting faggots. For some fucking reason they allow children on this discord, and to which they would glady talk about sexuality, troonshit, and porn memes to said children. I've seen multiple instances of minors joining the discord with completely normal profiles, and said minors would end up with furry pfps, cropped hentai pfps, and bizarre sexuaities/pronouns in their bios after no more than just a month on the server. Really suspicious shit. Also, to give perspective of what the mods were like, they permanently set their server icon to cycle through a million different pride flag colored Half-Life logos in order to "ward off the bigots", as said in a @everyone announcement. To be expected on a Discord server, of course, but still extremely obnoxious.

Specifically in an old HL modding team I was in, which also had minors (including me at the time) as devs for whatever fucking reason, there was a specific dev that was acting really fucking creepy to a female dev who was like, 14 years old at the time. I can't remember many specifics, but I do know that he always acted entirely different around her in specific, almost in a flirty or love-bomby way. The most notable thing I remember about him, besides being a fucking creep, was that he was some retarded tf2fag who fixed beards for LazyPurple, can't remember the dude's name tho. I wouldn't be surprised if he has already been mentioned in the TF2 general thread or something like that. Thankfully, the lead dev was actually a somewhat normal dude, and he immediately booted that faggot from our team when he got word of it.

One of the more obnoxious faggots I dealt with was a tranny youtuber who took over and killed an old project I was involved in, and then tried to recruit some of the devs (including me, also as a minor) to create a unity game about coming out as a tranny, and who also just acted like a fucking creep in general.

Do not ever fucking interact with the HL modding community, and do not form mod teams with them. You will deal with faggotry that no sane human should ever endure.

TLDR: Most people involved in the HL and HL modding community are completely irredeemable faggots. Troons, child groomers, and retards galore.

Yup, that's him! God, what a faggot he was. He contributed next to nothing for our project, yet probably sat on the dev team for 6-ish months iirc. He sat in the dev voice chat most of the time instead of actually doing anything for our project. Another detail I just remembered he would always facecam, and would constantly push the minor developer in specific to facecam whenever she showed up. I think that really started to catch people's attention, as that's when we started to notice him switching up around her. It gets worse the more I remember.

Is there anything on the farms about him? I'm curious to see what this faggot has gotten up to in the mean time. Oh, also, he looked like a fat retarded neckbeard in his facecam if you're curious.

This is also my thought process which I forgot to add to my writeup. It's suspicious to even have children (yes even a 16 year old) on your team. He doesn't hide that info either considering I got it straight off of his YT page.

I thought the general rule of thumb was that you don't hire anyone below 18 on most projects, or even add them on social media. That's what that stupid 18 emoji meant, or so I thought.

Looking through his stuff, I genuinely can't tell what he worked on that would indicate him being a good member on the team or what his role is. He has a Portal mod that went nowhere and HL2 mod that went nowhere. Some of these date back to 2022 so unless he didn't update his YT description since making these he was around 14 when he made Portal Alternate
