ppl say that the source engine is shitty spaghetti code, whilst that maybe the case people have done and keep doing impressive things with it despite how ancient it is.
Lua for gmod has done some crazy shit. Like using Lua to hook onto Nvidia's FleX Library allowing for water to be rendered in real time.
This is the Library that was used for gwater.
This is a demo of gwater 2.

I've heard recently that Operation Nigger Mesa had an update, but even more that there was a """mess""" inside the team which split up within the project. Honestly, in times like this, I think to myself I'm glad I don't have "faith" and moved on from some mods. Those who launched it's good, those who will launch, eventually great. I think maybe it'll be great that it may launch, but who knows.

Of course I learned from reddit, the news that is. So cue your "racist, homophobic, transphoic" and all that crap from a certain mapper. Just typical bullshit. I wish Half-Life was "christian" game at times like this or that troons hated it. Whatever (end rant).

Wait what?

Could you restate this entire post?

Sorry.

So, Operation Black Mesa had a setback, 7 or so months ago - according to this reddit post. And it was mentioned here in the farms as well:
Operation Black Mesa was being worked on by a team of about 15 people (Black Mesa had 20+ IIRC) and they weren't just working on one game but two (they were also developing a Blue Shift remake called Guard Duty alongside OBM). Anyway it turns out there's been some major drama behind the scenes where one of the core developers (and apparently one of the people who basically carried the project) turned out to be too based for the rest of the faggots on his team and the lead developer's refusal to permanently remove him but instead just suspend him for a couple of months led to like 11 people quitting. So now there's like 4 people left on the team which probably isn't gonna help things move along any faster.

(Come to think of it, should probably make a thread about it.)

A shame because I vastly preferred what I saw of Tripmine Studios' work over that of Crowbar Collective. Unlike the latter, they actually seemed to be trying to be as faithful as possible to the original GoldSrc games.
Bottom line, trannies got upset and people are losing faith with with Tripmine Studios' work. I just lost my faith with the modding scene in general, seeing troons have infected it - and that's why I wished Half-Life was an explicit Christian game - perhaps in vain hope it would shoo away these freaks from doing the damage we see nowadays. But probably they would do it all the same.

Just beat Crack-Life Anniversary Campaign.
Was some good shit but it had too many dark levels with the shitty flashlight and cramped areas that made the IKEA gun useless. Also I felt that while the vendor system was cool as hell (and that every game needs a damn mall in it), it never reached it's full potential.
Shocking to think that the 2015 campaign came out days before UNDERTALE. It's practically a swansong for that era of the internet (what with all the montage parody and vaporwave references).

Tried playing "Scientist Slaughterhouse : Mod Messup #1" (The mod that inspired kitty0706) but it appears to be fucked due to game updates. All the damage and health values are crazy making most enemies invincible and causing your weapons to heal them.

how is he still supposed to play any of the characters he voices now?

Total RTB:R death.
Dark Interval gods stay winning.
Unfortunately RTBR will likely see completion before DI ever does. I think both of them are great, even with RTBRs troon. The good news too is that outside of their groomcord they don't shove their gender identity crap down your throat anywhere else, which is surprising.

PRUNE JUICE

Even back in the day this mod was incredibly unstable.

Part of the instability is the mod was doing a lot with very limited knowledge of Goldsrc overall at the time, eg. how only one or two maps had things altered, the same maps that can be grabbed from the HL:S part of the 2003 HL2 leak; decompiling maps was that big of a black box. The fact they pulled off shit like weapons under flowing health values with basically no knowledge of the engine internals is fucking legendary.
