I loathe when retards like you pop out of the woodwork to spew your retarded drivel no one cares about.
If the HLX trailer comes out and the game itself actually looks like utterly pozzed terrible complete horseshit we'd be the first people to point and call it out with extreme disappointment. These people just fucking love to circlejerk and doompost over everything even though we know practically nothing concrete about the actual game's story itself yet.

Just 18 more years. Trust the plan Tyler McVicker.
HL3 hopium huffers and HL3 "nothing ever happens" chuds, you will never be a "I'll believe it when I see it" chad.

The same exact people who have just successfully predicted the Steam Frame (formerly codenamed Deckard), new Steam Machine (formerly codenamed Fremont), and new Steam Controllers (formerly codenamed Ibex) announcement are also the very same people who have been rattling about HLX for years and are saying we are now closer than ever. Food for thought.

I'm guessing that HLX is going to have fairly low system requirements since I'm guessing they're targeting steam machines, which has a pretty low spec apu so people with potato PCs can still play.

With HLX being almost guaranteed to be a tie-in with Valve's new whole ecosystem, I would be surprised if it couldn't run at least decently on the old Steam Deck and equivalent specs. I bet they'll have it be a sellingpoint of their ecosystem: Steam Machine will play the game flawlessly and you can stream it to your Steam Frame headset while using fancy comfortable new controllers with the ability to also seamlessly swap MicroSD game card storage between the Deck and Machine if you really want to play that + your whole library portably.

Maybe it could be comparable to how the NoVR mod for Half-Life Alyx runs? (same engine obviously, but I also expect there to be more optimization for HLX, as HL:A was not designed for this.)

I'm curious if they'll update HLA with better compatibility with the deck and machine since they've said they aren't working on any new VR games it would make sense to update older ones.
