Call it a hunch, obvious or not, but I don't have a good feeling to be anywhere near or associated with these guys in the future. I've had my fill, I'm running for the hills now.

Opening the internet up was a mistake, but a bigger mistake was allowing it to become centralised into the hands of a few companies, one thing I can see happening is people starting more private enclaves online like forums not immediately but for more than a casual user they are going to start becoming a more important part of the internet again.

I think we'll have more trouble from Covid and there's a non-zero chance we'll get a new zoonosis, probably another coronavirus (we're on #3: SARS, MERS, COVID19, sadly there's plenty more out there just waiting for their chance).
