I think he knows what others will perceive as wrong which is why he will try to hide it, but to him every wrong things he does is justified in some stupid way, thus it become right or not that big of a deal. There is no way he is feeling bad about any of this, in his mind he had good reasons for doing it and us mere mortals just don't get it.
 
From what I can tell with him hes always been rather selfish and always acted in self interest. I mean the whole reason he was saying he was female is because he thought it would be the only chance he'd get fucked.

Remember when he "cheated" on the many "lady" friends he had and he did the fake crying and things. I mean I'd say that was a major sign. Maybe he cared abit when his dad died but probably only because he had one less person to look out for him. He lied to Josh one of the only people outright trying to help Chris, he likely lied aswell because he knew stealing the money was wrong and obviously the motherfucking...
 
Absolutely not. Chris knows that fucking his mom is wrong, according to society, which is why he was so vague to Null in the girlfriend email.

Chis is an average criminal in that he knows that something is wrong, but he thinks he is justified in doing it. The only thing unusual is that its because he thinks he is a goddess and dimensions are merging, not from desperation or thinking he will get away with it.
 
No. Chris has always understood right from wrong. He just chose to do more wrong than right because it benefited him more. from begging for money and using pity to get people to donate to him. IE: Saying he needed money to buy barbs meds or needed it to pay bills and mortgage and then turning around and wasting the money people generously donated to him to buy more games and toys. He does shit like this without feeling any ounce of remorse for his actions. He's sociopathic in that regard.
 
If you're talking about the legal sense, successful insanity defenses are VERY rare and I don't think he'll qualify in this case. Any indication whatsoever that he is aware that what he's doing is wrong (for instance, only confiding his crimes in one person he perceives as a close friend) and he can be considered competent. This is Amurrica, we put literally mentally retarded people with IQs of 60 in the electric chair, Chris Chan is almost certainly competent to stand trial.
 
No, but I won't be surprised if this is part of his defense. His claim of being a "high-functioning autistic" doesn't preclude his ability to understand right from wrong, he lacks impulse control and the ability to understand the consequences of his actions.

He does not fit the criteria for it. One thing seen in sociopaths is ususally a very high IQ. They also lack empathy which he speaks as if he has empathy and just does not care. A sociopath actually lacks the ability in the brain to be empathetic they have done PET scans that prove this medically.
 
Chris may know that some things are wrong because of the law/rules but he doesn't really understand WHY they are wrong based on his own morals and selfish personality, that we know all so well.

It's his way or the highway, or to put things in a more relevant perspective for people, he wants Hasbro to stop the entire production of the new MLP series because he says so and it will cause some massive catastrophe for the pony universe and Hasbro will regret that they didn't listen to him, despite Chris having no idea that the creators are just doing their thing based on what the higher ups of what Hasbro want and he seems to think that they are doing this to intentionally fuck with Chris and his personal rainbow land.
 
Got into it with someone yesterday over exactly this. They were also telling people to stop misgendering Chris which was funny bullshit on its own.

They claimed to know a lot about the history surrounding Chris and that's why he shouldn't be considered a rapist because his sense of right and wrong has been twisted by the constant trolling he's had for the past 20 years.

I called bullshit on that pretty quick because if you're at all familiar with Chris' history of lying and stealing, you'd see he pretty clearly knows the difference between right and wrong, and his reluctance to outright admit who his True and Honest Sweetheart was this time, despite openly doing so in the past, is a fairly good indicator he knew he was doing something he shouldn't be.

It's crazy how many people out there are willing to dismiss Chris' behavior and even want to still show him basic human decency because "muh disability, muh trolls, and muh LGBT". Some people think way too much with their hearts rather than their heads.
 
He never had that much of a grip on right and wrong in the first place. If you skim Sonichu comics this quickly becomes evident. He has a very childish concept of God. He, like most autists, does not understand rules unless they are written down. And even then he doesn't fully grasp them, sperging out towards the rules and laws that he thinks are unfair. He is hypocritical. Lies all the time, but in an autistic way (like saying Barb was "over 60", because if he said her actual age we'd immediately know who it was. Or not wearing the Sonichu Medallion when he posts videos that are not True and Honest.
He needed to be warehoused decades ago.
 
Right and wrong, moral concepts, are concepts that should have been ingrained in his youth so somewhere that failed to develop in his mind (be it his autism, upbringing, illness, environment, etc...). Failure to know, is not an exoneration. He knew what he was doing. The recordings show that clear as day.
 
What if Isabella knew of the invest but told Chris to keep it hidden so she could continue her Everfree op? I mean, letting a horrific thing coninue to keep a op on schedule sounds /very/ CIA.

Then Chris mentioned he would 'pity sex' Fiona and lying to continue to op became useless. (Or Fiona honestly leaked the chat logs because.. it's a disgusting thing for Chris to have done and she was honestly horrified.)
 
I think Chris only has an understanding of things that can get him in trouble, and doesn't care about the morality of any of his actions.
He hid his incest relationship because he knew he'd get in trouble for it, not because he thinks its wrong.
 
Dude he renamed himself because an animatronic bear misunderstood his name, and in his mind he thought that meant he has to adopt the name the bear gave him.

How has he ever known right from wrong?
