I worked with a tranny in the late 90's, when it was still very rare. I actually felt bad for the guy. He claimed to be a "lesbian" and I remember thinking how absolutely batshit that was, but the guy was clearly miserable and embarrassed 24-7, so everyone sort of played along out of pity. I'm in Long Beach (it's pretty much the degenerate capitol of the US, even more faggot-laden than San Francisco), so I encountered another couple of them over the following few years, also "lesbians". Both times I thought, "huh... that's weird", but they, too, were shy, retiring, and clearly humiliated by their obsessions, so again, I just shrugged them off.
By 2014-2015 I noticed something had changed. The trans identity was no longer this weird, included-out-of-pity category-- it was becoming exalted. And the more enshrined it became, the more it seemed to act as flypaper to narcissists and predators. Now I *never* see the sort of troon I first encountered back in the 90's. They all seem like psychopathic coomers. Still all "lesbians", but they don't peer around meekly like prey, the way that guy did back in the 90's. Now they all have the air of a predator.
