Hasan doesn't believe for a second that Hyde is going to or even wants to kill him. Piker's just pretending to be scared of that because he's actually scared of having to get into any kind of internet beef or even an actual boxing match with Sam; he knows that he can't match wits, he knows that his sycophants can't match the memes that Hyde's will make, and he knows most of all that if he actually agreed to box Sam that the souls of the victims of the Armenian genocide would collectively dab on him from beyond the grave. Faking being afraid and faking being a victim have long been forms of social currency for people like Hasan.
Hasan is an idiot, but he's not so autistic that he thinks that Sam is a psycho killer. It's kind of like the Keffals situation in that the troon knows no one here is going to go out and dismember him, he's just afraid that people will keep showing how much of a retard he is. If someone (probably himself) sends Hasan a pizza or something with "Candyman" spelled out using chunks of Italian sausage, don't be surprised if he pretends to feel like his location is no longer safe as some shitdick journo from Salon or somewhere uses the "attack" to call for more censorship.
