I read up until Issue 5, on the Annotated Sonichu.
I can't stomach to continue reading by myself, it's just too awful and i get bored easily.

At least with the Annotated Sonichu i could read the pages with a much more informative and interesting view below them. Viewing the pages by themselves is just boring cause i don't have anything worth of my time.
The art sucks, the dialogue sucks, the story is boring (apart from some sub-episodes) and the characters are flat and one dimensional.

I need someone to write actual interesting stuff below the comic for me to not fall asleep.

I wonder why they stopped the Annotated Sonichu, it was great. I even find it more entertaining than the Audiobooks. If only some good soul would continue it...

I started following the antics of Chris in 2009 but didn't attempt to read the comics until last week. I use the word "attempt" because I got so bored that I couldn't get through the first issue. I decided to just read through the CWCki summaries and based on these skimmed a few sections of the more bizarre scenes, such as his description of electric hedgehog reproductive organs and (let's face it) most of Sonichu #10.

I listen to the audiobooks whenever I need a good laugh. So...yeah. Technically I've seen the whole mess front and back. Let me tell you though, terrible as they are the comics are definitely entertaining. It's like watching some big horrible trainwreck and being unable to look away.

I've read the whole damn thing, sub-episodes included, and my God, its horrible beyond belief. The spaces between funny bits like "My two balls!" is unbearably long and devoid of anything entertaining.

Now I'm having trouble determining whether Sonichu is still the worst webcomic or if that honor should go to Mythical Warrior now.

I read as far as "The Annotated Sonichu" blog got, which was from book 0 to somewhere midway through issue 4. Reading it with the annotations was the only way I could handle it. It's just too boring otherwise. Oh, how I wish that blog was still going...

As much as some people here can't stand him, @DStecks review of Sonichu was probably the only way I could actually get through Sonichu, no way in hell was I going to try and read that mess of a comic series.

Yeah, I've read the first 10 issues, issue 8 being my personal favourite because of the absolute absurdity. I can't seem to find the deleted pages from it, so if anyone can link me to them, I'd be a very happy man.

Read most of it. Pretty quickly after I read all of the cwcki oh so long ago. If I bought a signed copy I’d probably read it again.

I've already read everything Chris has to offer. I actually want to see more Sonichu issues, just to laugh at them and waste my time. I wouldn't pay for it though

tl;dr and feels:

Yes, and it makes me nostalgic, for a more innocent time in the history of the subculture of the fucked up parts of the internet

The old Sonichu comics, even when the content was basically dictated by dang dirty trolls, there was this quality of innocence to them, you know? It was something to be and appreciated read by the more refined connoisseur of Internet autism. Then it became this meta-autistic shitshow at some point, and I tuned out, but then I found CWICki forums and couldn't stop watching the trainwreck. Then the tranny saga happened, and Sonichu just became this background lore. It's supposed to be all about Sonichu, but now, it's just a shitshow.

I posted this autistic comic book by a guy named Sherwoode Grosvenor (the very name I think is pathognomonic of 'tism) a while back, it's basically what Sonichu would've been if Chris-chan weren't from a completely deranged household and never became a 4-cent-garbage household name, and it's exceedingly autistic, and goes on for a long time. It has that similar innocence.

Which Sonichu lost a long time ago. Which Chris lost, although it shows up sometimes with his Odd Capitalization and the use of the autistic passive voice.

Even the very name Sonichu News Dash kind of gives me the warm fuzzy feeling of an autistic manchild just expressing himself, without a care in the world. Now it's just fucking tranny shit and feels. I really think that TITS (Trolling Induced Tranny Syndrome) is a fucking thing, although I'll be damned if I understand why.

I read the whole thing not too long after I first stumbled across knowledge of Chris's existence. It was a kind of baffled fascination that propelled me. I couldn't believe that someone, no matter how autistic, would actually put this . . . thing . . . on the internet where other people could see it. Of course, I also thought the same thing about My Immortal back in the day.

I also thought that Chris was performance art for a while, but then the meta-autism of people deconstructing his life became so incredible that it was indisputable that he was real (kind of like that fucking sperg Jace except that, uh, yeah...)

I'm #11 btw

My gf still wonders what the fuck I'm listening to some nights. She's foreign give her a pass.

I left Chris's audiobooks on the background while gaming. It was interesting to hear Chris trip over his own writing or trying to explain himself. It showed that he didn't really read his own product, because when he did it confused him despite the fact that he was the one that made it. That's why I wish he had finished the rest.

I just can't bear myself to actually READ the comic. Especially now that a page it's 10% drawing and 90% text walls.

I didn't read shit, I did the audiobook shit. Let someone else figure out his text walls for me.

I've read through the sub-episodes and a few others once, got up to issue 6 i think in Taffy's Annotated.

I have, however, listened/watched Corrupted Gaming Show's Let's Read like a billion times because those two guys' reactions never stop cracking me up. So I'm actually pretty well versed on Sonichu.

I'm sad Tony said he won't be doing anything Chris Chan anymore... I cannot bring myself to get more than 2 pages past the Idea Guy comic alone. It's just so fucking abominable it actually makes me angry. I could probably handle someone else reacting to it though. No more than that.

I tried a couple of years ago but never finished any of the "books(?)". Could not make it.

Issues 1-11 are the only ones that are worth reading. Those are "classic" Chris and contain all the unintended hilarity that made people have actual fondness for Sonichu. The real enjoyment of Sonichu comes from being able to psycho-analyze the comic and see how shit gets processed by Chris' brain and then see it put onto a page. The recent Sonichu comics are either masturbatory fantasies about ponies or nonsense memes fed to him by Idea Guy.
