Isn't ToonBoom free though? I thought you only paid for extra features like special effect packages with ToonBoom.
There have been dozens of movies like that which never see completion, so I'm not surprised that progress on that movie being a slog. Is that guy still going? If so, he's putting more effort in than Hayden is. Looking at his website, it seems like he has actual backgrounds, which is more than what could be said for Hayden.
It's always sad hearing that any production that went on for just that long ends up dying instead of hitting the finish line considering the distance I'm presuming they made. Oh well.

Eh, i don't put trying to develop half baked characters with shitty designs and personalities (Which I have done before) on par with eating rat poison (which I have surprisingly not done before), but i see your point
Ehhhh. There's really no point in it, nothing was ever really established with these characters beyond very bare bones things. (Hipster girl, trans girl, angry dude, sensitive dude if I'm remembering correctly.) There wasn't really a story for them to follow, just your standard "sitcom about a bunch of roommates" thing. And their designs would need major retooling to be appealing to anybody. You'd really just be making your own OCs from scratch, honestly. Which, you could do, you just really don't need anything from Gen Zed to do that since all we've got here are some basic archetypes which show up in a lot of things, except these have really bad designs.
