If it was played for laughs, I probably wouldn't have mind this episode so much if wasn't trying to be this "deep" character study that tries to make the audience see that he's the victim and he didn't do anything wrong.
Which is actually working because I've seen so many comments underneath the episode be like "poor baby birb. He deserves the world", "this isn't cheating. His wife a bitch and he just so lonely", "he best character ever. He just trying to make everyone happy". And the moment someone brings up a character (mostly Stella), wondering if we'll get an explanation on why they are the way they are, they all go "Doesn't matter what she did! She hurt Stolas, and whatever happened in the past doesn't justify what she does." Even though most people aren't trying to justify her actions and its a bit hypocritical when they justify how Stolas is because of his past. And they go on saying your victim-blaming and support abusers and what not, and I'm like whoa there! He's just a fictional horny British owl. No need to start raging.
But yes Paimon was the best thing to come out of this episode. I just couldn't get enough of him "trying to dad".
