Tbh im not sure what to think of Hazbin Hotel? It has some potential but I'm unsure of how it's going to handle the serious topics on a long run with the comical stuff- it's doable but i personally dislike the edgy humor ,that doesnt even make me wanna crack a smile at the antics .
Also can't shake off that HB might be a preferred project because we already got more "meat" shown in terms of content vs HH.

Especially with raunchy pieces like Monster prom being somewhat popular in the Tumblr/twitter circles ( and you having the option of playing it kinda gay)....

Hazbin has the sharpness of a fake ruler. You legit cannot cut yourself in this shit; it has more bark to it then bite.

It has just enough to challenge the new mainstream audience of twitter morons. Personally I really like the show's humor, colors and characters, Angel Dust in particular is very endearing. People will shit on anything that isn't the most highbrow of humor, but quite a few of the people who criticize HH laugh at GameGrumps, epic funni monkey jokes, regurgitated memes, and similarly banal stuff. I don't have high hopes for them continuing this tone, however.

It's less the fact thats lowbrow humor ( I unironically love monster prom and i think it's even more raunchy and over the top in ways Hazbin Ins't- though it's all in written form ofc) and less so because i thought the humor was pretty meh ( as subjective as it sounds) and didn't land nearly as well as it could.
I only like it because of the animation, Charlie's song as well as thinking Angel dust is kinda hot my fondness of pretty feminine boys be danmed.
But yeah any one who Ins't on Twitter's hug box doesn't seem to know what's deliberate values dissonance is even if those farts love to hang on T.V tropes lol.

Yeah that's the thing too, while most characters are nice, all is going to fall on him. His design is hot as hell, and he's a gay guy who does politically incorrect shit. He is entertaining to watch and I'm going to be really dissappointed if they screw him up.

The cast are going to be doing a live autograph signing on Twitch from December 11-13th. The prints cost $40 each so they're a bit pricy as far as autographs go but YMMV on whether it's worth it or not. Just bought one myself.

God forbid a gay guy is an offensive asshole and not the nicest person on Earth (or Hell in this case). Either way there's signs he cares about his friends at least a little bit, hinted by him trying to help Charlie when she is hurt by the failure of the hotel even though he in the end didn't do it, and his whole caring for Cherry Bomb thing.
He's endearing because he seems to be a kind of nice person deep down, he's entertaining, and he's hot. You may differ but I find it impossible to not like him. Either way I expect the following episodes to make him an even better character, he has got a lot of promise.
