New H. Boss episode is up.

Seeing Stolas in the thumbnail is already looking like a bad sign.

:lossmanjack:

Edit: removed video link
-Stolas punishment wasnt convincing enough cause we know it's just an excuse to keep him and blitzo together.
Not only that, but from everything we've seen so far, Stolas 100% deserved to die. He basically kept one of the lower class around as a sex slave, abandoning his wife and kid in the process. To anyone who is not brainrotted on fujo, that is scummy ass behavior. No, Octavia going "BLOO BLOO BLOO", nor Stella "manipulating" her will not convince me otherwise.

Certain biblical descriptions claim Leviathan is a dragon like monster with seven heads. I imagine for simplicity they cut the number of heads down to two for her design. I want to see more of Belphagor she looked cute.
When she does speak those 2 heads are probably gonna be constantly jealous as shit of eachother.
It makes sense, compared to greed or gluttony envy is more dependent on having a target (tho ig the same can be said about some other sins) so its very convenient to always be able to be envious of half of yourself, but the way it's executed looks very clunky.

Also for a show made by a salvadorian and a mexican, those spanish lines felt very random and awkward.

Well that was shit. Viv doesn't know how to write a court room scene...at all. I knew that once the higher-ups figured out that IMP was going to Earth illegally, it would all be solved in one episode. You could have made an entire arc about it, but no. The only story arc we're allowed to have is the relationship between Stolas and Blitzo.

Vassagio was a...nothing character. He falls into the same category as Barbie Wire and Andrealphus did when they received so much hype for their first appearance, only to have 3 minutes of screentime. At least Andrealphus got more to in his second episode. Any scene that was going to have Barbie Wire in it gets cut out because...woman.

Speaking of, besides the whole sudden Millie jumping off to kill herself, I think the leaked episode for Ghostfuckers would have worked better for the whole "we're a family" angle they were playing up for in this episode. Cause it has the whole crew, instead of just Millie and Blitzø. And there you can see Blitzø truly does care for his employees and his duaghter, so it makes sense for their reactions in Mastermind when Blitzø sacrifices himself.

Sadly, the show really wants to make it obvious that the only positive trait and only thing Stella is good for is being hot. But you know what? They can't take away this:

Best moment of the episode. And the only reason why she smiles evilly at the end is because she believes Stolas is gone from their lives. Now they can finally be mother and daughter. Hooray!

So something that's confusing me from this episode is that they refused to kill Stolas because he was too valuable to them, yet they were fine punishing him by stripping him of his rank and powers, and giving them to Andrealphus. So what purpose does he even have to them if they can just hand his powers over to someone else. They could've just killed him and handed over his powers nonetheless.

And yes I know this was just an excuse so that Stolas and Blitzo can remain together, it's still incredibly ridiculous writing to me. They could've at least had some clarification on why his life would've still been important to them.
Sounds like the justification for keeping Stolas alive requires more mental gymnastics than simply killing him.

Because imps ain't worth shit. They ain't entitled to jack. Like, the only reason two of the Sins didn't go ahead with executing is because they knew the accused. Had it been literally anyone else, they wouldn't have given a singular shit.
Yeah they literally said "He's such a cool guy so he isn't bad"

When he did break the law and used a stolen book to go around killing people, some of whom were probably innocent like teenagers on spring break and a random annoying nerd.

Not that these were meant to be taken seriously, but having a courtroom episode be treated seriously for the main character's crimes, it makes previously comedic episodes be looked at with scrutiny if continuity is considered.

EDIT: Not to mention the United States Government is now aware of the existence of Hell because of Blitzo and Stolas.

The "arguing" between the sins in the courtroom was less arguing and more slinging curse words at each other. All it did was waste time of the court scene because it wasn't even funny. Even the Mexican-sounding bird's joke besides dickriding Stolas was "haha he's cursing, but spanish"

Edit: Also, why was Stella's brother trying to make it seem Blitzo was guilty? Wouldn't it have been easier to accuse Stolas of sleeping with an imp, since it would have gotten him what he wanted much faster? I know the real reason is because Stolas is the golden child that does no wrong but come on man, make it make sense.

Vassago is very annoying, literally his only character trait is being a Stolas dickrider.
If they'd taken out the gratuitous spanish lines and just stopped his dialogue after "YES!!" when he's excited for the song (which I skipped, lmk how it was, just kidding don't)., he'd have come off as just a loud chaotic neutral type instead of a weird groupie clearly created so the writers have a way to restore Stolas to power later.

Honestly, while I was wondering what Octavia’s plan even was when she rushed, it made sense she would rush out, because she’s a kid, she doesn’t understand that there are rules and laws in place that must be followed, and that she will likely only make things worse or that everyone will ignore her.

Also, fucking love that screenshot. Take away the evil smile, you have a perfect example of what Stella should be. She’s not happy at the outcome, not because she cares about Stolas or he’s going to either die or be banished, she likely has champaign for the occasion, but because it hurts her daughter. What can she do now that Stolas admit to the shit he pulled?
1: Keep her from doing something stupid.
2: Comfort her. She needs that now more than ever.

You know, people keep suggesting Fan-fics about Adam and what not, are there any good ones where Stella is trying to keep things from spiraling too much because of IMP and Stolas, or one where she’s a good mother? I would love to read them.

Also, I 100% agree with the Riot Act Octavia will read Stolas now. He was willing to give his life for the Blitzo, and didn’t once think about how his death would effect his Daughter. He only brought her up when he was being banished.

Vivzie had to go on twitter to clarify that Satan didn't rule hell before lucifer since people were confused he did, considerint that is literally what he said afterall.

1-"Too suble of an acting choice" vivzie you retard Satan literally says "I ruled the endless darkness before the angel's fall" why would we assume that this character, who was introduced this episode and has no history of lying, is just making shit up because Lucifer isn't there?

You straight up frame Lucifer's chair, i thought they were annoyed because Lucifer isn't present, not that "they know satan is full of shit".

2-Vivzieeeeee i thought you left twitteeeer, why even bother with bluesky lol

Does Hell have oil?
Well they do have a lot of magic and cars so definitely.

Yeah like the show does go very hard in trying to make Stella out to be the worst person ever, but Stolas isn't really any better given he's a cheater, prioritizes imp dick over his responsibilities and family, and probably spent more time with that random imp he hooked up with than he did with Octavia recently.

It's actually not a horrible episode if you cut out Stolas and Stolitz. Their synchronized singing, especially Blitzo with his "I realized too late, my eyes are open now, you are my light/heart" was unadulterated cringe. God this show tanked so low.
I think I was supposed to be clapping or crying during that but I just kinda muted it and moved on.

The episode was decent, it's good that IMP faces actual consequences for once but it's really stupid that it only happened because Stella just randomly brought up Stolas committing a demon crime. The melodrama was fucking awful as always, I am so fucking tired of seeing Blitzo crying all the time.

Stolas not being executed was probably the plan all the time but it feels like a last minute change to the script because 100 years without powers, away from his toxic family, and basically in a position to get with Blitzo in a "wholesome" way is not a punishment in any way, shape, or form.

Oh also, I have an uncanny ability to tell when a character's VA wasn't available and Millie's was very much not available. Those cheap bastards reused lines from other episodes.
