Do you believe that this series will turn to shit?

So far I think Alastor is right. Demons can't be redeemed.
I will say that I think the biggest things that Hazbin has going for it when it comes to tackling redemption as a theme where other shows like, say, Steven Universe fell short is that 1) the show takes place in Hell and 2) the main hub for prospective redemptive character arcs is a hotel.

People have already mentioned how being in Hell means characters being assholes are a given, but the other part of being in Hell is that it also means that you can’t really say that the characters haven’t received any comeuppance for being assholes. Most of the main assholes have there for at least half a century, and there’s plenty indication that it wasn’t a cake walk, so their current status quo is basically one big heap of comeuppance. And the very nature of a hotel being a place a person checks in to means that the characters are there voluntarily (even if their initial reasons aren’t exactly noble) as are any future choices to leave or stay and any character growth that happens has to come from the characters themselves - so no bullshit deus ex machina powers to facilitate redemption for them. And if they don’t change, the status quo is still Being in Hell, so characters who backslide on development or characters like Valentino who will most likely be portrayed as completely irredeemable will feel more like they’re choosing to wallow in their own shit as opposed to getting off consequence free.

And that's literally the only moment AD even admits not being a completely enthusiastic degenerate. And he's alone. And he's not asking for sympathy. I'm not sure where that nonsense is coming from. Maybe the creators? I don't know. I have to admit I kind of do sympathize despite the reasons I shouldn't.
Right, I'm not saying he's asking for sympathy or anything like that. More like a nagging feeling at the back of his mind that Charlie might have a point.

... was I the only one who didn't like Stolas' song? I feel like they went to the Rebecca Sugar school of musical numbers: For every amazing one, you have to have one shitty one.
On the flip side, this was absolutely stacked with musical theater talent to put it across: Bryce Pinkham, Barrett Wilbert Weed, and Alex Brightman and his mutant vocal cords.

I will fully admit I absolutely do not have the most sophisticated palette when it comes to music despite my growing fondness for musicals. Most of my taste tends to be based on whether I think something sounds nice or I like the wordplay going on in the lyrics. So so far I’ve mostly categorized all the music in a nebulous cloud of "fine."

With the exceptions of Addict being my favorite of the bunch (what can I say, I’m a sucker for Hot Topic pop tunes like the plebeian I am) and the music video that accompanied it was well done. And the worst being Zoophobia’s music; mostly because I went into that short having no idea what the hell it was supposed to be what with its mish-mash of fantasy elements and inexplicable furries and.... I wanna say Danny Phantom-style super-heroics(?) I don’t even know what to call those segments, that throwing in High School Musical into the mix was just too much for me.

You got me here, pretty much. So I like Cole Porter and Gilbert and Sullivan and Sondheim and. . .well, what lyrics do you have that interest me? I am very pleb-tier on that shit. So Alan Menken is my god on that issue. So I'm basically enough into musical theater to sound like an absolute faggot to anyone who isn't, but not enough to impress anyone who actually is an absolute faggot.

I have (guiltily) enjoyed Episode 1 and 2 of Helluva Boss, I didn’t realize the VA for Invader Zim was in it until I watched it again. Overall, Helluva Boss isn’t as obnoxious with its sound design when compared to Hazbin Hotel, so it’s a step up
That might be the people working on it learning from their mistakes. The pilots for both shows were eye-bleedingly oversaturated even with people that liked the direction. They seem to have agreed with that assessment and pulled it back a bit, and they’ve had a year or so to iron out other issues.

Maybe I'm colorblind. I can't even see it at all.
It's REALLY obscure, but it's there. Take a look at this with it changed to red (10000 hours in MSpaint by a guy who doesn't even know how to use color select).

I can see it in the numbers mousing over with the eyedropper. But I can't see it see it.

It may be eyes then. I have to lean in and I don't think I'd see it if I wasn't looking for it, but I can definitely see it. That said, here's the same picture in much higher quality. No edits, just a bigger cap than the reddit one. Looks a lot more clear to me here.

Okay, I can see it there. I'm only partially blind, apparently.

Huh, I missed that Stolas’s wife isn’t mad that he cheated, it’s that he cheated with a “lower class” Imp.
On top of that, go back to the pilot, and you'll remember his wife didn't learn about it through the most subtle means.

Yeah, in front of her associates during a tea-party, with a loud "Sorry, I fucked your husband!" I can't see anyone take that well.
