I already shudder to think what side characters they're going to introduce in the new seasons.
Classic Vivzie be like:
Put a furry in it and make it lame and gay!!

No, the baby becomes sentient sludge unless killed by an angelic weapon. Or something. I'm sure Vivzie has many ideas. So, if you do an abortion in hell, does the baby soul immediately go to heaven?
*MALE charactersDon't forget to give it a sad and tragic backstory—oh wait, that only applies to the main characters for easy pity points. What a shame.
...Why?I glanced helluva boss on AO3
Assuming you gave her a sympathetic backstory (Such as taking advantage of the fact she didn't have a choice in the arranged marriage either) It's funny how there's only two characters in all of Hazbin or Helluva that you can't treat sympathetically without getting shit on by the fandom, that being a literal rapist pimp and the wife who hates her cheating husband.Okay, I rarely believe in a coincidence. But after posting a new chapter for my fic, which okay did show a take on Stellas backstory, I lost two followers. The funny thing is, I kinda gave the impression from the start she wasnt gonna be how shes in S2 or rest or S1. So, either someone was slow on the take or they just now realized it.
Youd be correct, I did try and do my take on the arranged marriage concept with the two. Which, ye Im guessing wasnt liked, which really would have been nice to get told that.Assuming you gave her a sympathetic backstory (Such as taking advantage of the fact she didn't have a choice in the arranged marriage either) It's funny how there's only two characters in all of Hazbin or Helluva that you can't treat sympathetically without getting shit on by the fandom, that being a literal rapist pimp and the wife who hates her cheating husband.
He was desperate, and anything not written by Vivziepop seemed like an improvement....Why?
It’s even funnier that they both get gooner merch as well. And if Chaz is anything to go by, even if they die they’ll still get merch. Remember, you’re supposed to hate them, unless you want to jerk it to them. We do not hate fandoms nearly as much as we should. It's funny how there's only two characters in all of Hazbin or Helluva that you can't treat sympathetically without getting shit on by the fandom, that being a literal rapist pimp and the wife who hates her cheating husband.
Honestly, if it’s just about how you portrayed Stella/no reason was given, I say keep on keeping on and forget them.Youd be correct, I did try and do my take on the arranged marriage concept with the two. Which, ye Im guessing wasnt liked, which really would have been nice to get told that.
That's my guess anyway, since the two people dropped right after that chapter was posted. But as I said, as no explanation was given, I'll take that as the main reason. An ye, I ain't gonna abandon the project cause of this, could be kinda cowardly by this point.Honestly, if it’s just about how you portrayed Stella/no reason was given, I say keep on keeping on and forget them.
I can understand Stella and Valentino still getting new merch well after they're killed off (Even if the gooner merch is cringe to begin with) because they're major antagonists who play an important role in the series, Chaz on the otherhand is introduced and killed off in the same episode, isn't ever mentioned again afterwards, and isn't even the main antagonist of said episode. It’s even funnier that they both get gooner merch as well. Again, this if Viv doesn't steal another fan concept where he survived but got his jaw ripped out, thus making him mute.Chaz on the otherhand is introduced and killed off in the same episode, isn't ever mentioned again afterwards, and isn't even the main antagonist of said episode.
Another character from Genesis because that's where the Old Testament ends, at least to people like Vivianne. Then suddenly the book of Matthew begins. Clearly. (sarcasm)I already shudder to think what side characters they're going to introduce in the new seasons.
Now this is weird, and tragic: there are more "wise"/intelligent fandoms that would accept such ideas. I wouldn't necessarily say "consumer material" like Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul or The Walking Dead, but something like The Wheel of Time, Lord of The Rings/Arda Universe and especially A Song of Ice and Fire. Humanising characters and perhaps seeing where a dangerous edge in others. Perhaps showing "darker" aspects in Eddard Stark and "lighter" aspects in Tywin Lannister, for example.Assuming you gave her a sympathetic backstory (Such as taking advantage of the fact she didn't have a choice in the arranged marriage either) It's funny how there's only two characters in all of Hazbin or Helluva that you can't treat sympathetically without getting shit on by the fandom, that being a literal rapist pimp and the wife who hates her cheating husband.
In the one episode from season 1 and the leaked one from season 2, we don't see any kids in Heaven. So that leaves us with two options: either kids that are sent up to Heaven immediately get turned into adults, or all kids end up in Hell. So, if you do an abortion in hell, does the baby soul immediately go to heaven?
Fandoms love to woobify or demonize certain characters but I think the Hazbin/Helluva fandom is the absolute worst in this regardNow this is weird, and tragic: there are more "wise"/intelligent fandoms that would accept such ideas. Perhaps it would be interesting to see him putting on a face or, shall we say - a farce in order to show what he wants people to think of him. Harkening back to the Pilot Alastor. The Red Menace kind. Then comes the first man and pulverises him and then adds a dialogue in the fight, perhaps making Adam more serious and Alastor at first seeming more "Ha, not breaking sweat!!!!".Fandoms love to woobify or demonize certain characters but I think the Hazbin/Helluva fandom is the absolute worst in this regard
I consider Alastor to be the primary offender for example, personally I haven't seen one well done fic that focuses on him because the authors almost always without fail treat his manipulative tactics as legitimate feelings, when it's crystal clear in the show he very rarely means what he says. He has a grand total of one scene where it's shown he might have grown to at least somewhat care about the Hotel, but he basically flat out says he's sweeping those feelings under the rug after Adam kicks his ass and he's crying about it in his ruined radio tower.
Seriously, I'm not sure any Alastor focused fic doesn't woobify him in some form or fashion at the end of the day.
Yeah I think highlighting he's nothing more than an opportunistic predator and a bully who can put on a good show would be an excellent turn for his character. Also barring perhaps Son of Sam, all serial killers have a sexual angle to their killings to some degree so we can also imply that Alastor is most likely a rapist as well.Perhaps it would be interesting to see him putting on a face or, shall we say - a farce in order to show what he wants people to think of him. But then, Alastor gets desperate, because Chadam faced people much worse than a serial killer (Imagine, how Genrikh Yagoda would look like in this hell?) And then Alastor's mask slips and shows he is absolutely who he is once he loses control of his victims: insecure, pathetic, and anxious. And then he becomes everyone's laughing stock. The only people who weren't fooled were Lilith-probably-Rosie and Lucifer.
Exactly. It seems all sociopaths & serial killers, not necessarily psychopaths (but that's my understanding) HATE when their victims get away; they will try again and again until their victims die. And they all have a "recurring degeneracy" so to speak to them. Sexual aggression being one of them, so you bet Alastor would have it.Yeah I think highlighting he's nothing more than an opportunistic predator and a bully who can put on a good show would be an excellent turn for his character. I used to occasionally lurk the /hhg/ thread on /trash/ as a guilty pleasure following the leaks. There was one major Alastor writer, and some of her shorter fics made him downright nasty. Though the longer ones did attempt to give him more emotional depth. The last one I read was about him as a young boy getting groomed, I presume leading to his psychopathy. It was weird thinly veiled fetish material, but interesting to hear her describe his violent thoughts and how he initially tried to suppress them. They were getting another Alastor fic as well about his childhood, but the updates were slow.Seriously, I'm not sure any Alastor focused fic doesn't woobify him in some form or fashion at the end of the day.
