https://t.co/OzFwgEXdl7 This is a Google doc of reviews from people who had worked in different Animation studios. I found something in there that should be taken note of.
This is kind of what I'd expect, both from Vivz almost certainly being an obsessive slavedriver (she even picked Deerie of all characters as her avatar as well as voicing that awful monster), plus the project would attract exactly the kind of whiny tumblrinas who would be amazed at being worked like beanfield peons in the field of animation, which is notorious for that, especially in a possibly doomed startup.
Well write this down and hold me accountable for it in case I get it wrong. This company will collapse next year. Or at least by next year. Vivienne has displayed pure ineptitude managing budgets by hiring overpriced voice actors and paying celebrity cameos for no reason. I’m also predicting Hazbin Hotel will become a cancelled project. Hold me to that too.
That's Helluva Boss, though, which has been pretty remarkably productive for an indie project despite no studio involvement.
The one in development hell is HH, where a network is handling the business end. Whatever dysfunctional management style is going on, including the union shit, has very little to do with Vivz.
I think way more than business decisions, what will capsize either series is going full Zoophobia in terms of excessive side characters derailing shit, main characters who suddenly never appear any more, and plotting and other artistic shit, rather than the practical stuff, which Vivz does seem to have the ability to just bullhead her way through regardless of practicalities.
I'll be disappointed if that happens, but I still love that pilot.
