I noticed that Ozzy mentioned that he has hated mammon since hell began implying that while the prince of knowledge (Stolas) is hereditary the other princes of hell have been around from the start. (I still don't like that Stolas is the same age as blitz and the fact other princes don't follow this rule makes it even stranger)

I don't think stolas is the actual ruler of his domain but more of a lord or a Duke. I could be wrong but I thought it was implied his father was still in charge?

It's not brought up much but I've only recently watched the series.

Her boyfriend passed away a while back, and i'm assuming she's taking a break because of it.

Viv herself said that wasn't the reason Loona didn't speak. In fact, it was planned beforehand.

Big doubt on that (especially since that would just make Viv an even shittier writer), but rumor has it she couldn't afford for Erica to come back for a while.

That is why I brought it up in the first place. I was entertained with those episodes (for the most part) and am bored out of mind with all these gay fujoshit melodramas in hell.

I could honestly say the same for Hazbin, because the concept of reforming sinners in hell with a comedic twist seemed like a great premise. But that seems to be something we are not getting based on everything we have heard from Hazbin's production and its looking more and more like its going to be another Helluva boss with gay melodrama bullshit and that is slightly depressing.

I hate melodrama and quirky gay shit.

When I see this, "bargain bin DVD in 2023" immediately comes to mind.
When I see the Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss logos, I think physical copy of a shitty indie game off Steam, sold by Limited Run for $24.99.
Everything just seems so cheap to me with this Viv creator, and yes I have witnessed the ugly singing blue wolf thing way back.

Y'know, despite that song from the teaser sounding very stereotypically Disney, I have trouble actually thinking of many examples.

It sounds like 'Belle' and 'For the first time in forever', with maybe a little bit of 'part of your world' and 'wicked' briefly thrown in. And I feel like that frozen song was already a meta disney reference in its own movie.

However, its sounds EXTREMELY similar to every other adult disney parody song I've ever heard.

So far already somewhat generic for an adult musical comedy, I see.
These songs are all about a decade old too.
The quality of the song itself is still very good tho, so I hope Amazon intervened enough to prevent some stinkers like helluva boss has.

I know Helluva Boss having been pretty eh recently has gotten people's hopes down for Hazbin, but the difference is with Hazbin she's at least a bit on a leash instead of being the boss™.

On the other hand, I feel like it's gradually becoming clear that Brandon Rogers was the one actually entertaining writer on HB, with all the episodes this season so far not having him listed as a main writer, only Vivienne and Adam... so if he's not writing for Hazbin, that could mean bad things. He was one for all s1 episodes except ozzies.

On top of that, Adam was the writer for the LA one, the one about moxies dad, and the camping one. 2 of the 3 earth episodes this season so far, and a hell episode but about something at least a bit more interesting that Stolas. Not great but at least the concepts were all decently engaging and gave other characters screentime.

This means that Vivzie was the sole writer on Ozzies, the circus... the western kidnapping one.... and both of the fizzarolli ones.
This... really does not look promising for her writing skills, 3 episodes focused on Stolitz and 2 focused on fizz with the rest of the imp beig absent and even blitz barely being there for one of em. And ALL of em take place in hell, most of them not even relating to an underground gig either. All of them too busy being gay baby drama. Also her putting Stolaz in the hospital and almost immediately taking him out lmao.

Time will tell ig :/

Also with Angel Dust and Husk being potential bait n switch, and with Lillith probably being Stella 2, I would not even be surprised if Angel somehow ends up with Charlies twink father.

Also with episode 12 being labelled sinsmas... is this gonna be a christmas ep so delayed it comes out next summer??

Voice acting is one of the early steps in animation. It's pretty cheap, fast and needed for timing so while there might be some reduping during the final edits, most of is done well before before the product comes out. Honestly a year isn't that far when talking about episodes coming out now so she might have been in active grief during that time.

It's not surprising given how little focus Loona gets in the show, or really any of the female characters who aren't essential to the fujo relationships.

Idk why but this took me fucking out. Among all the messed up fanart of this show, 'character dies during childbirth au' is somehow so funny to me. I think its because of the melodrama of it all, meanwhile they still look Like That™
Something so unironic and surprisingly well drawn for this show of all things, esp with killing millie not even being remotely necessary for introducing her shipkid oc.

The mother dies giving birth is such an old fashioned trope and this scenario just seems to manufacture drama between Moxxie and his fan-made child. But with how there hasn't been any development of Millie in S2 (the summer camp episode was a complete retcon of her personality in he previous season), you could remove and replace her with this OC and the criticism would be little to none. I do look forward to how social media reactions the upcoming episode, which showed leaked footage on here, where Millie contemplates suicide.

I genuinely think even her fans will start to think it's kinda fucked up that they took the most boring character in the main cast and randomly made her suicidal just to spice some things up and give a little gotcha to the critics. Oh what am I saying, they'll probably be calling it "brave" and shit for weeks.
