Something to note is that a certain song title is featured in one of the leaked ambient music tracks.

Now a song of the same name was in the pilot, but it seems like this gives a little credence to this thing, there's also a track titled "Pentious's return" (nice grammar)

So maybe Pentious pussies out during the final battle or something and returns to save Cherri only to die.

I'm only on episode 3, and holy shit, people just randomly burst out into song now. Like there's no build up. They just start randomly singing in the middle of what are supposed to be dramatic scenes.

The songs are trash too, by the way.

At least when Charlie started to sing in the original, its recognized that its a quirk of hers (given she is like a Disney Princess) and thus isnt the "norm", Alastor sang a reprise of her song as a way to win her over while also making it clear he has no faith in her idea

It all felt like it was done sparringly until the show actually came out.

She feels like the "dumb bitch" trope because she acts like a fucking moron and does nothing. I can't actually remember anything significant she's done outside the pilot. For the "main" character she is extremely forgettable, even vaggie is more relevant/memorable than her. The fuck is viv wanting to do with her?

I faintly remember a Patreon call where someone asked Vivz what Charlie's powers were and Vivz sounded surprised. She then immediately went on about Lucifer being much more fun.

Alastor being so OP reeks of the cringe you would find on dA during its heyday. With Rosie actually being Lilith, I'm surprised there wasn't a final twist leaked where Alastor is revealed to be actually Lucifer who had some other demon pose as him.

It also shows how sheltered she really is, how little experience she has with the seedier side of society. This poster on /co/ described the problem with people like Vivzie trying to write "evil characters" perfectly:

Even when Vivzie has gotten seedy in HB or HH it is tame. What we have seen is Mammon exploit Fizz, Crimson doing mobster stuff, random demons hovering around Charlie at the BDSM club, Val's treatment of Angel, and the shark demons spiking Angel's drink. Given the lack of sinners in the hotel, maybe the Exterminators have the right idea.

Watched episodes 3 and 4.
-The music is steaming hot garbage, worst thing about the whole show, though Husk's song made me laugh a bit.
-I do not like Vaggie's new outfit. It lacks the respectability her old clothes had, plus her voice is too flat.
-Husk's voice is wrong for him. The old voice was a million times better.
-Now that we've had an episode discussing Angel's job, can he have a personality that isn't just "sex" because that was boring.
-Charlie. What is the point of Charlie? In the pilot episode she was quirky and optimistic, but remember when she demoned out and fought with Katie Killjoy? That was fun.
-Nifty being a lil' freak is just the best.

So I decided to do a bit more digging on the source of the whole later half of season 1 rumors. The dude is talking about a source from /co/ that was a few hours before the Amazon release happened. Even exact language is used such as how Cherri "literally cucks him in one scene/point."

However the supposed leaker here makes no real mention of Alastor being a shapeshifter like the Twitter thread, described an Alastor vs Vox thing that happens near the end of the season the Twitter thread also didn't mention, and most importantly when pressed for details on things that happen in earlier episodes to try to confirm he's legit potentially when episode 3 and 4 dropped, he disappeared.

So I'm now taking this with a lot more grains of salt than before, because we got this from an Anon (potentially the same guy on Twitter) repeating mostly confirmed stuff and just adding basic things on it, the only really new info was Pentious dying to rescue Cherri, and ran off when pressed for more details.

Part of me wants to throw them a bone and say its creative liberty but on the other, it really feels like they missed the point of...everything biblical really. Its basically fanfiction with religious characters.
