The first season showed the Leaders of Heaven had no idea about shit in Hell
because this idiot (pic related) believed Lilith was starting a Hell uprising which was justification for the Extermination.
Despite the fact this same character is established to have a magic crystal ball that can look into Hell and somehow fucking Lucifer can get in contact with Heaven higher-ups.
Somehow this plot happens despite the many easily avoidable ways it can be avoided.
I know Hazbin's plot is retarded (like Season 2 it's questionable how Lucifer or Alastor can't just shut down TV Man's evil plan), but its plot really would make more sense if they stuck with the overpopulation concept or Lucifer not actually punishing sinners.
Instead we get all this lore and theories!!!

I honestly liked where the pilot was going (y'know, the overpopulation of the hell and such). The series was too dumbed down even compared to the pilot for some reason.

The whole problem with this is that it's a show about a small idea of some girl in hell running a redemption hotel being turned into a 4D game of underwater Jenga. Had they just kept it small, maybe make season 1 about Charlie getting some low level office in Heaven to give her the time of day, it would make sense that Vox could fuck shit up and create a bigger shitstorm from fucking with a bunch of low level pencil pushers. It would also explain why two massive nations have no interest in any of this, and why everyone is clueless, because it's all lower courts of people who are just doing their job.
Instead it's being made out to be beyond its station of capability, and because of that everyone comes off as retardedly incompetent, which is fine if you're making a campy kids show but this is clearly aimed at adults. I mean seriously, if a shithole like North Korea can have spy offices in the US, how does Heaven not know shit about Hell?
What was her daddy issues though? That her dad enabled her stupidity?

This move had some masterful writing. It presents a wide and diverse cast of characters that are fully fleshed out the moment they're introduced, yet all of them were written for this one movie and most of them died and they're prime material for making a multi season TV series that revolves around them. It really was Guy Ritchie's magnum opus.
And then you have Vivz who can't flesh out even one character over the span of years of writing. This is my "shitting on Vivz's lack of writing skill" contribution. Now fuck off.
