I have no idea why someone would greenlight this. It’s so stupid. To whom are they marketing a language-learning app? Teenagers? HH fans? Obviously, both of those demographics don’t care about this. Such a bizarre and random choice. And also, the Duolingo company is calling this forced ship Owlastor or RadioDuo ...seriously? I wonder if Vivziepop knows about this because it doesn't seem like a one-off meme at this point.

I think this was already known by a few here and discussed but according to this video documenting a Viv stalker, Viv is mutuals with Kyle A. "child porn collecting" Carrozza. Apparently she fired someone due to believing Kyle's word.

Take note that multiple people in the animation industry had apparently tried avoiding the guy due to him giving off an uncomfortable vibe, but for Viv? Nah. I mean, I don't expect much from the a woman who draws a naked boy and snake in bath.

You expect Viv to make up her mind on whether she wants these "Deadly Sins" act like deadly sins or your average goody-two-shoes celebrity? Honestly, the team struck gold during Ozzie's debut episode. He was overwhelming, slightly threatening, charming and actually felt like lust (even if it was toned down for Viv's tumblr audience). I mean, his song was a wannabe Facilier fag ripoff but it worked ok. Come "Oops" and the "Mammon" episode and they turned him into a "Boyfriends (the Webtoon)"-esque uwu softboi.

And no, hellborn don't respawn. Only sinners can infinitely die and respawn unless killed by angelic weapons. Still don't know why hellborn can just... die whereas sinners cannot. This isn't even bad purgatory, this only gives sinners more leverage to continue indulging in their sins if they know they don't have to worry about being permanently murked unless exterminated.

Dying multiple times and in multiple ways would be worse than just dying once and that being it; especially in Hell. We'll just probably won't get to see the effects on that with anyone because...this is Hazbin Hotel we're talking about.

I meantioned here but alastor x lucifer is unironically the second biggest hazbin ship after husker dust, if not the top 1 in places like twitter (i think there was a semi-big latinamerican twitter poll and radioapple won over huskerdust.

fun fact: According to Ao3 fanfiction stats, it was the 13th most written ship in 2024 till june. Huskerdust was 4th. Chaggie was 6 but that's only cause they're canon so they're tagged in every hazbin fic which inflates their numbers.

It seems to me that they are taking the "yaoi affictionado" route, you know, of making people have characters be sexy hunks à la Draco in Leather Pants, or at least some "soft twinks" with marks of that, from what I'm seeing in fandom and such. It would be a bold move if they went with a route of having protagonist villains and antagonist heroes.

Since this is the only appropriate thread, more or less: Recently I read an interesting post or speculation or whatever about Adam and Lilith and what they are.
The gist of it was that Lilith was like fire and Adam like water, with the justification being something along the lines of Lilith was supposed to be the Hearth of their home, a source of warmth and means to make food edible while Adam was supposed to adapt to any challenge they might face and find a way forward. However this similiarity led to Adam decaying as a person because he got stuck in a rut in Heaven and, like stagnant water growing fouler over time, his worse traits and vices began his decline.

What annoys me is that I can't find that post anymore. It had some compelling argument that Lilith would've had a personality like a forest fire; all-consuming, attention demanding, and leaving little if any for others.

The only reason Mammon is portrayed as bad is cause "muh capitalism bad". Nevermind that Spindlehorse itself is an actual capitalist hellhole that Viv clearly loves to exploit. So Mammon is yet another Viv projection.
