Christ, now I’m remembering my mom experiencing the straight version of this. Her stepdad was with her mom for about 20 years, was a real good father to her. Then he found his high school sweetheart on Facebook and ran away, never bothered contacting either of them again. Had little toddler Snowfall crying and asking where “boppa” was.
So Cave Fisher really is right. A lot of people have seen a Stolas, and it makes his bullshit hit harder as a result.

Sorry if this is a power leveling, but this situation has happened to me and I was the child who suffered in it, I won’t reveal crucial details, all I’ll say is the one who ran off did call me to apologize and said I had every right to hate them, and you know what boss, call me a moron all you want I forgave them.

Looks like we finally got to see Blitzo's mom in motion after so long. Even though it's only a hallucination, it's the only scene I actually widened my eyes to. Feels a bit impactful considering he was the reason behind his mother's death. The contrast of these two images explains enough. At least to me. Really the main thing I pretty much went, "Wow." to. She says no words, by the way. Which I feel is a very good thing on Viv's part. Only adds to the mystery of her character.

Time to see if Millie suicide is real
it's not

Anyway, just finished the episode, and I gotta say, it wasn't really that bad on my initial watch. Yeah the Stolitz bullshit is there, but thankfully not too much. Millie actually had some development too, and the villain was pretty terrifying.

Now who's ready for the fujoshi bullshit to continue?

Two years between the leaks and now is quite a bit of time to change shit, but you wound up scrapping the episode because why exactly?

Also, nice job confirming the other storyboard of the season 2 finale is authentic, although it wouldn’t surprise me if they scrapped or changed that too.

Ah, that explains it. It wasn't written by Viv this time.

What an episode, though. I worried they were gonna shoehorn some angst with Millie when Rolando tried putting her down but thank GOD they didn't and showed that Rolando's words mean jack to her. Glad they didn't continue with the whole suicide storyboard.

Sucks it was more Blitzo antagonizing and making him seem like the true villain of the show. I really thought we'd get a flashback to his past or something instead of fast-paced ones. Give me more context behind Blitzo after his mother's death! Show us more of what happened after the fire. How did it impact Blitzo's family? How'd it impact his reputation? But I guess they had to do some show, don't tell.

Overall, the episode wasn't a blithering pain to sit through unlike Episode 7 and 8. It shouldn't have taken so long for Millie to get the most basic of character development but I'm just scraping by with any Millie development at this point. Rolando seems to be a demon from the Envy ring, so there's a chance we may get to see the ring sooner or later. I think they'll be too focused on Stolitz to care about expanding their world, unfortunately.

How much can they really change it though, if what‘s likely going to be THE line from the episode is featured in the trailer?

I give a 5/10 with positives being some development for Millie, Loona having several bits of dialogue (good for the VA), showing how Blitzo and Millie met, and revealing Blitzo's mom, while the negative is more Blitzo drama. Am I the only that prefers Millie's look in the flashback to what it currently is?

I mean, Octavia's call out from the leaks were also shown in the trailer, so I guess that's staying.

Long Hair Millie >>>>>>>>> Short Hair Millie change my mind

>be Octavia
>father is a narcissistic twink too busy engaging in his idiotic fantasies with a degenerate drug-addicted psycho imp to raise you
>mother is batshit insane and too busy trying to have your dad killed
>uncle Andrealphus is a scheming wannabe-Machiavelli twink who never gave a shit about you to begin with
>your only friend – a hellhound and daughter to aforementioned druggie imp – is trying to gaslight you into thinking your dad did nothing wrong
>you're a walking plot device with no real agency of your own
>your own writers hate you for no real reason other than you being an obstacle in the way of their planned yaoi melodrama

Yoinking this with some words changed so I can post it to places where Helluva Boss fans can read it. Changed words cuz I the second they see fag they’ll stop reading and chalk it off as “Muh homo phone bia”
But just know I completely agree.

Called it, you can pinpoint with crystal clear accuracy how much involvement Viv has had witch each episode through their quality and how much of it is eaten up by Stolitz angst. For once I'm glad it's only MOSTLY drama about Brandon's self insert, and not drama involving him and Viv's infinitely shittier self-insert.
