With Lucifer crashing at the hotel, Charlie busy with said hotel, and Lilith pretending to be Rosie, doesn't that leave Satan in charge since he's commonly associated with being the Devil? And what the views of Lucifer, Charlie, Lilith when it comes to Imps breaking their laws?

I think she’d be more like able if her negative qualities were toned down, or if she was at most/least 18 or 19. Can’t really have her be younger because…come on, you know why. Well that was shit. Viv doesn't know how to write a court room scene...at all. I knew that once the higher-ups figured out that IMP was going to Earth illegally, it would all be solved in one episode. You could have made an entire arc about it, but no. The only story arc we're allowed to have is the relationship between Stolas and Blitzo.

Vassagio was a...nothing character. He falls into the same category as Barbie Wire and Andrealphus did when they received so much hype for their first appearance, only to have 3 minutes of screentime. At least Andrealphus got more to in his second episode. Any scene that was going to have Barbie Wire in it gets cut out because...woman.

Speaking of, besides the whole sudden Millie jumping off to kill herself, I think the leaked episode for Ghostfuckers would have worked better for the whole "we're a family" angle they were playing up for in this episode. Cause it has the whole crew, instead of just Millie and Blitzø. And there you can see Blitzø truly does care for his employees and his duaghter, so it makes sense for their reactions in Mastermind when Blitzø sacrifices himself.

Sadly, the show really wants to make it obvious that the only positive trait and only thing Stella is good for is being hot. But you know what? They can't take away this:

No idea. I guess in this show, they made a fuckwit from the 1910s-1920s be scarier than a fallen angel, so who knows? I hate to be an ass, yet I wish Supernatural or Tom Ellis' Lucifer spent five minutes in a room with the deadly sins, Alastor and the gay bird.

Lucifer probably has the highest authority, but Satan definitely did have a lot of control over Hell while Lucifer was being a NEET

My theory is that Loona was originally written to be a child but at some point Viv realized that her adult design (which had already been floating around in Hazbin hotel as a background character) was peak furry bait. So she's an adult legally but mentally never aged past 14.

Mastermind is straight up my favorite Stolas song now, and that's coming off of Everything will Be Okay and Stolas Sings. If you are a music/theatre sperg, the concept of leitmotifs is important. Up until this point, all of Stolas songs have the same leitmotif, present when he was introduced. It's just been subtle and in the background, never really making a part of the melody. This one is straight the leitmotif, from melody to vocals. It represents peak Stolas it's the cycle completing.

Also male duets are super hard to find, so anytime I hear one I'm a big fan. Shame it's gay shit.

The animation during Mastermind is fucking impressive btw. That rotational shot is an homage to the ballroom scene from beauty and the beast. Sure the frame rate isn't as impressive, but it's straight showboating.

I don't care if the plot makes sense. It's the most over the top episode of season 2 as far as animation and music goes. Solid 10/10

Viv has really gotta stop doing this, first you imply that Stolas is fucking ancient and bored in "you will be okay" only for it to turn out he is the same age as an imp and then you put stuff in that implies something deeper behind hell and Lucifer and then just drag it away in a tweet.
And Oz and Bee's reaction could be seen as them missing Lucifer's presence perhaps he made it more entertaining for them or some shit and/or they don't like following the rules of an angry meathead.
Hell, perhaps under Satan Hell would have been a traditional version and it's Lucifer who changed it into what we see in the show, perhaps set it so he was originally going to use it to change sinners or avoid punishing those who's sins weren't the worst but were still rejected by heaven and then it backfired or something leading to a depression spiral.

Like you got annoying shit like Cotton Candy and the Cherubs theme, boring stuff like Sweet Victory and the Stolas Lament, and irredeemable garbage like Chaz Time. This song feels more like it belongs in Hazbin due to its more musical theatre style of exposition, structure, and composition. It's great. Also look at that, Brandon can sing after all.

I liked Stolas Lament it's exceptionally hard to act like you are crying while singing.

Brandon has the basic tech down and is very good at being expressive, but he gets absolutely bodied by Bryce in this duet. It's straight hard projection with Bryce from start to finish. There's no vulnerability, just deception, regret and acceptance expressed with conviction. I have the feeling Brandon can't project(yet), and that makes singing difficult for him and is probably why he doesn't do it often. That's overwhelming for anyone without classical training to overcome, and that shows during the part where they are supposed to be harmonizing, and they kind of tone him down during mixing.
